I wish you could smell these delicious Vanilla Sweet Bread biscuits thru the video - The Farm's kitchen smells heavenly! Join us today as we make a quick and tasty breakfast bread, dessert or just a side with any meal - this will become a favorite at your table - 100% guaranteed! Special thanks to Steve and his Niece Amy for sharing a family favorite recipe! Enjoy!
GRANDMA'S SWEET VANILLA BISCUITS
1/2 stick butter
3/4c sugar
1 t vanilla
3 heaping tablespoons of flour
Cook above ingredients on stove top until thick (maybe 5 min.)
Pour over raw biscuits
Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes until biscuits are done.

Hi!...I'm the niece that gave Steve the recipe. Smaller canned biscuits work better and girl use all the pudding on them! You want extra in the pan. Glad y'all liked them...we always loved them. We used it for dessert

Hi Vicky… and Alan !! That recipe looks scrumptious ! My only thought would be to pour all of the liquid mixture over the biscuits, thereby leaving more of the custard in the dish. I am loving your new channel… it is awesome❣️❣️❣️

Grandkid approved! Thanks for the reminder to whisk the flour and sugar together first. I also added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to the flour and sugar for a slight cinnamon taste, had to make my own baking powder biscuits because I don't normally buy them but it was worth it!

Hi, thanks for the idea. Maybe the crunchy ones (with some jam or berry syrup) could be a nice topper with your goat ice cream--like cobbler? Just an thought. :)

I am afraid it was my failure to include some details of the baking of this recipe that led to dry biscuits with no sauce to spoon over them.....we always use a 9" round aluminum cake pan....put as many canned biscuits as will fit.....and use all the sauce poured over them....this way there is the pudding sauce all around and under them to spoon over each one as you serve.....much ...much better this way.....Steve

Maybe the biscuits you used ...we always just use the cheap ones in the can and don't believe they soak up the sauce...also might be the sauce you held out to put over the freeze dried biscuits
