It is absolutely a beautiful cheesecake!!! I happen to be the official cheesecake baker in my family & I don’t think I ever made one that wasn’t delicious!! One of my favorite ones to make ( & it’s one that that is requested frequently)…it starts with a crust made with coconut & crushed macadamia nuts & with sugar of course, it is prevailed in the oven. It calls for your basic cheesecake recipe which uses almond extract instead of vanilla. You lightly toast some coconut then spread that over the top for the last 20 to 30 minutes of the baking time. You use the bagged coconut that you find on the grocers shelf, that has sugar already added. It is so so good!!😋 I love watching you cook & it brings back so many memories of cooking with my mom & my grandmothers. I hope that you’ll keep inviting us into your kitchen…it is such a joy to log into KZfaq & to find you there with a recipe that takes me back in time!!!🥰🕊🙏🕊💜

Don’t you just hate Spellcheck??? You ‘preCOOK’ the crust, I don’t know for the life of me how that came through as ‘prevailed’!!😄 And I neglected to add that you do add butter to the crust mixture. I’m 69 years old & sometimes my brain doesn’t always cooperate properly with the rest my body as it should!!😄🤷🏻♀️💜

Oh thank you very much I now need to make a trip to walmart for vanilla wafers, and more cream cheese as I only have 1 on hand, oh I need heavy whipping cream too. It's getting more and more expensive to cook lately I have noticed, and I cannot wait for # 45 to return very soon! This looks so delicious and thank-you for sharing.

YAH!...Yer using the Kitchen~Aid!!!!! My Sweet Tammy, have you ever tried using lemon juice in the batter instead of vanilla? Be nice if you gave a few pieces of that cheesecake over to the neighbor with the lemons AND the neighbors with the DOG!!!!!! Get on their good side then ask for the dawg to be inside so you can watch the birds!

Our Meyer lemons are so much sweeter than regular lemons from the store. It could be because we let them ripen really well on the tree. We didn't get any this year so I am sad about that--they need to be fertilized. This looks really delicious!

I’ve been making cheesecakes for many years. I absolutely love them. I haven’t tried one like this though and I have your first cookbook so I think I will try your recipe. Since I made one in my instant pot, I hardly ever make them in the oven anymore because it’s so much easier in the instant pot. And I love anything lemon so in the kitchen I go! We have about 4 inches of snow up here in Ohio right now. So it’s a good day to get cooking and baking something!

Oh, my gosh!!! This has my name on it!! Cheesecake is only my most favorite dessert in the whole world! I nearly drooled to death when you put in all that cream cheese!! This looks so good! I grew up in Southern California with a huge Meyer lemon tree. They were so good…all the neighbors thought so too. Wish I had one now. Can’t wait to make this…thank you! 😎

Yum Yum Yum!! My new oven has cooling fans, if I turn it off its cold in 15 min. I always have to put it at 175 etc. 😤

Very similar to the recipe I use. I make mine with dark brown sugar sometimes for a caramel take on it.hsrd to beat cheesecake.

Hi Tammy,This looks absolutely delicious, Its hard right now to find any cream cheese cause of the shortage ,Can you believe that back at Christmas Kraft Foods I think they put out Philadelphia cream cheese was actually paying people $20 not to bake cheesecake for Christmas

I came across my mom's no-bake cheesecake recipe and thought you might like to try it. CHEESECAKE For the Crust 1 ready-made graham cracker crust OR 1 1/4 cups crushed graham crackers 1/4 cup granulated sugar 6 tablespoons margarine, melted Mix together and press mixture into a pie plate; set aside. For the Filling 12 ounces PHILLY Cream Cheese 2 cups cold milk 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 small box (3/4 ozs.) vanilla instant pudding DIRECTIONS 1. Combine cream cheese and 1/2 cup milk; beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. 2. Add remaining milk; beat until well blended. 3. Add remaining ingredients; beat until thickened. Pour into crust and chill until set You can eat this by itself or you can top it with your favorite store bought/homemade pie filling. This is so delicious, hope you enjoy it.

Your recipe sounds very similar to the one my precious little Mama used to make for us when we were children. Her recipe was called Busy Day Lemon Cheesecake. About the only difference is instead of vanilla instant pudding you use lemon instant pudding. It really is delicious and easy. Oh how I wish she was still here so I could share a piece with her. 💗

It looks delicious but I can't find cream cheese around here any more. Sometimes I see the Philadelphia Whipped in the small containers but the blocks are nowhere to be found in East Tenn.

Beautiful Cheesecake, ( one of my favs, after French Apple ( Which by the way can you do you have good recipe..I've tried some and it wasn't the same, as Bill's Barbecue ( Richmond, Va)....I did get one at our Lil market and that was real close, but they were hard to get, pre-ordered mine "3,"at a time.... Looks WONDERFUL!!! TIP: place a circle of parchment paper in the bottom of your springform, and then you can easily transfer the cake to your cake plate for serving. No need to serve off of the bottom of the pie pan and risk scratching or cutting when you cut and serve!

Do you grease the spring pan before pouring the mixture in the pan?? Just don't want to mess this up. Would be a terrible waste if it stuck to pan.

My local grocery had 10 lemons in a styrofoam tray for $.50 each...I bought them all (8 trays) and canned lemon curd in half pints so I'm halfway there, lol. 🤤🤤Lemon heaven🥰
