store.sure-elec...
This Video shows the introduction and connection of WONDOM high power audio amplifier series -- IRS2092. This series of audio amplifier boards employs Ir's High Voltage,high performance class D audio amplifier driver Irs2092 which could privide you great quality of sound. The connection seems a little bit complicated, but if you follow our video and get an idea about the usage of each interface, you will find it is quite easy to build a high power high performance audio system. Hope you enjoy.

Hello. In this video (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kLyeeLRe36_KXXU.html), we demonstrated how to use 2pcs power supply to power the IRS2092 amplifier board. Wish this could help you. Have a great day~

What power supply do you recommend for 100watts RMS? And, whats it sound like? Some of these "D" class amps have all the high fidelity of an Ice Machine at a Motel 6.
@WONDOMAudio
@WONDOMAudio 4 ай бұрын
Hello, the power supply range for this mono 1000W IRS2092 is ±55V - ±65V. If you want 1000W RMS into a 2Ohm load, ±63V would be required. Please note that the IRS2092 amplifier boards need dual power supply. So, you can use transformer and rectifier or two AC/DC power supplies for powering it up. Wish this could help you. Have a fantastic day~

How do i power this unit? Positive negative ground?? Is this with a standard 220v transformer??
@WONDOMAudio
@WONDOMAudio 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, John d. Thank you for your watching. This unit requires dual power supply. The standard product is not integrated with transformer. You need to buy the transformer and rectifier capacitor bank board to power this amplifier board. You can refer to the 'Connection' on the product page for reference. Have a nice day.

220 or 120. I have this rectifier board, using it with a transformer that takes two 120V AC inputs, and outputs two phase 40V AC. The rectifier takes these as its input, and then outputs -52V and +52V, measured against the 0V ground output--in other words the negative terminal is not ground, it's hot, just in opposite phase to the positive terminal. If you measure across the - and + terminals you'll see it's actually putting out over 100V DC total. The way they describe it is fairly confusing, as we normally always look at the "-" output as ground, but in this case, they're referencing 0v as ground. Took me a minute to figure out what was going on exactly myself.

I see your boards but I don't see alot of people building these. Please show a video of north America standard 110VAC voltage input configuration. Thank you.
@jasengibson6619
@jasengibson6619 3 жыл бұрын
Configuration is identical, just using a transformer that accepts 120V. Whether you're starting with 220 or 120 (or even 480), you just want a transformer that's outputting two AC phases of an appropriate voltage. In their example, two phase 48V AC.
@GonzoZener
@GonzoZener 3 жыл бұрын
@@jasengibson6619 i think you mean single phase 48vac from single secondary output side of transformer? I think the voltage input is single phase appropriate voltage. Some of their amplifiers can go higher voltage than 48 vdc. Some videos showing how voltage source 110vac through a transformer then rectifier would be helpful just to see it done correctly.
@jasengibson6619
@jasengibson6619 3 жыл бұрын
@@GonzoZener Nope, I mean two phase. Two AC inputs on the rectifier. I'm using this board with a transformer that takes two 120VAC inputs, and then outputs two 40VAC lines from the secondary in opposing phases. Whether the phase is important or not, I don't know, but it would make sense. The rectifier has two inputs, I have one phase to each. I assume the rectifier is essentially dividing the top and bottom of the sine wave of each input, then combining the upper half of both to one output (the +) and the bottom half of each to the other output (the -), then smoothing out the ripple with that bank of giant caps. So, when I measure across my output terminals, I get 61VDC from Gnd to +, -61V from Gnd to -, and 122V from - to +. So this rectifier puts out 120VDC total with two 40VAC inputs. And the amp they show in this video requires both of these power outputs---so they're speccing it fairly wrong. The documentation says 65-75V for input, but that's really X2. The amp I'm using it with is the 500W version of this, which wants two 55-65W power inputs, so I'm giving it both 61V outputs of the rectifier, which is really 120V when measured across them. This rectifier is a beast. The wiring is simple--the transformer has four input wires for the 120 coming in (hot and neutral), and four output wires from the secondary. Here's an image of the transformer-rectifier wiring: drive.google.com/file/d/1aTyBADrIWuWiHIT-nPY0DPhMrqv3gShk/view?usp=sharing

@@jasengibson6619 I get it. Just would like to to see this amplifier wired with a 120 VAC circuit which is the most available circuit in the USA. 240 single phase in USA is option too but odd for a home Class D amplifier application.

On the highs I can hear peak distortion 2000w into 2 ohms come on be realistic, most commercial speakers are 8 ohms not 2 ohms how about a real test with some test equipment showing the real power, distortion measurements, Thats what I would be doing here If I was trying to sell this product. give the youtube community something worthwhile with real specs not just some noise out of a box with some claim.

Inflated power claims. 2000W? That would mean about 24 amps of audio into a 4 ohm speaker, or 18 amps into 8 ohms. This tiny junk is not gonne supply that, even at 95% efficiency. These claimed wattages are boy racer peak music power output figures; not grown-up RMS. Even the screwdriver is a toy.
@WONDOMAudio
@WONDOMAudio 3 жыл бұрын
The speaker is a toy, it is true, but this tiny is not a junk, it could output 2000Watt continuously, you can check another video when the amp is taking an air conditioner. 96% efficiency means it will deliver about 80Watt, only with a high speed fan, it could output RMS power continuously. Inductor only 95 celsius or so. I can not say this amp could work continuously cause it is not designed for long term running, but I will be glad to show you it could work at 2000Watts continuously for 5 minutes, and without any modification it could output 2000watts only with an additional fan. what about 200 bucks bet, the board value? So before you consider it as a toy, get things clear please.
