The Colts should have just hired Blue as head coach. I've watched Blue preform during every commercial break, timeout, and at half time. Blues preform has been outstanding over the years. I currently feel he would be a very good candidate to have been hired as the head coach of the Colts. He would be great inspiration on the team sideline during the games.

Never thought that Jim Irsay could be crazier than his far but he exceeded my low expectations.

Dont know why everyone so shocked. On the field, aside from the QB, the center on the O-line is the field general, he sees the field, calls out coverages, calls out blitzes so the QB can audible. I think Saturday will be better than the media thinks.

Just seeing Jeff on the sideline will be fun. And he will motivate them and talk straight to them. They will draw strength from him. Really nothing to lose anyway. Jeff has passion for the game too and for the Colts. Don't underestimate that.

He always spoke highly of Coach Tony Dungy, he loves football, believe in people and have a strong sense and leadership to him… Also culturally he’s what I called black-white….lol He genuinely sound like he’s one of the guys if it’s with white teammates or black teammates or anything in between…. The man have a good heart n I wish him the best… Lastly this is the only few times( well exactly I wish they get rid of the Rooney Rule) that I wish the Rooney Rule didn’t apply…. So Irsay could just say I believe in him and I’m just taking a calculated risk in him and betting on Jeff…. Jeff Saturday will be a good coach if it’s the Colts or another team 🙏🏾

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, I love Jeff Saturday and I feel as though if anyone from those great Colts teams would make a good HC, he or Peyton would be at the top of my list. On the other hand, how are the coaches on the staff currently feeling about this? We have guys who have head coaching experience or aspire to be a head coach and they were passed over for someone who has no coaching experience at this or at the college level.

I think Jeff is perfect for the job. He was with Peyton Manning as his center, watching film, changing plays at line of scrimmage, and he will have support from the fan base. Give him time past this year, and he will be good.

Jeff Saturday reminds me of Tom Hanks from Big. Like when he immediately gets a high exec position without any experience from the boss from Macmillan toys. But in this case Jeff Saturday gets a major coaching job with no experience prior because his boss likes him to coach his football team.
