Manhattan and Woodlawn bound R62 and R142A (4) Trains with R142 and R142A (4) Trains Ends/Begins Service @ Burnside Avenue
Taken September 2nd
Service Change: Because of severe Flood Damage from Hurricane Ida which led to several signal malfunctions, there were extremely limited (4) Train service between Manhattan and the Bronx. (4) Trains ran in two sections:
1. Between Woodlawn and Burnside Avenue
2. Between 125th Street and New Lots Avenue
Nearby (D) Trains provided alternate service.
NOTE: There were no (3) Train Service between Times Square-42nd Street and New Lots Avenue

The r62 has a 3 roll sign at 1:48

Yes the R62s has the 3 signs just like the r62as. The R62s does not have no 8 or the 9 trains signs. However the R62as has those higher number s of the rolling signs up to 1 through 24.

My first ride was onthefour with straw seats and sliding doors our stop was Kingsbridge road pop would take me on the 20bus to see his parents on 180th street. Those were the days Taranctula

That must’ve sucked for the passengers being told that the train was taken out of service at Burnside Avenue. That walk to Grand Concourse to the D train is not fun.
