Depends, we own UnderPressure, pressure washing company and odd jobs LLC, and i agree, u just wanted to mention that, sometimes we do a deal for $200 or $250 - for front and back standard size special.. everytime we run that special we get swamped for a few weeks. Keep crushing it fam. 💪.

I have no power washing experience whatsoever and even I know that $100 is not enough. Even as a consumer I would think that 200 is a fair price for a job well done on a 2 car driveway

No, Simple and straightforward with a very reasonable price garners future work and callbacks.

Don’t ever say your new at the business because they wound think you don’t have as much experience and they’d pay less. So say you’ve been doing it for years and they would offer and pay more than say $100 for a drive way maybe $250 or if its a 2 car wide driveway but it’s way long day 200-250 feet or more than a usual 40-60 feet long. I’d charge $400 for the driveway alone.

It seems like you ought to do/include that little walk up to the front door and the front porch area too as you're just getting started as a gesture of good will. It's probably not very dirty and wouldn't take your technicians more than a few minutes.

Having connections to help you get jobs is huge also. My buddy owns a rock wall company & gets me tons of dock jobs that turn into full blown fence/driveway/house jobs. (I live in a huge lake community)

I started today and got my first sale after about knocking 25 home. Charged him $200 but in reality I undersold myself because it was a pretty big driveway

My neighbor just asked me can i pressure wash his driveway… I’m going to take the job on… we have long driveways so initially i told myself $100 but as I look at his driveway I’m like that’s just too low for me. $250 seems like a min for the job.

Too cheap, but depends on your overhead. Always do a high and a low in your head, price the middle. Reason i say that you dont want customer thinking your desperate for work

I hear people say pre spray dont do anything. But i feel like it does something . Plus the customer might think you are doing more since no one really uses it

Verbiage and pricing is important. Open and honest with verbiage don’t say too much just enough. Pricing I usually do .35 cents a sqft and use a calculator to come up with a price then round it off at that point. The customer is always right in sense of pricing but you only give them an inch and not a foot

$100 would be high end for 200 sq ft. So a standard width of 20feetish on a 2 car driveway maybe 25. The length of the driveway matters.

Right nowadays people dont have 200 dollars like that plus educating people to keep their driveways clean and you use a disinfectant. Heck maybe use a petry dish and swab their drive way to show all the bacteria. There is a story about a child who scraped his knee on the driveway at his home and ended up with some nasty staph infection and got his legs amputated. Gotta find the link.

You could offer 10-20% discounts for the first 10 customers rather than hitting the area with rock bottom prices which week kill it in they long run. It's always better to start higher and discount. The other way round just doesn't work

I think, or at least for me.. 100 isn't bad.. But if you want to charge a minimum but not sure.. At least make your minimum whatever your insurance is for one month. It'll vary depending different factors but that's how I see it.. It'll work to start but then you can adjust as needed.

I work on a 8000 acre rice farm foe salary.the amount of work i make doing that hard dumb work for $120 a day sucks. If anybody told me all i have to do is go wash a driveway for that much what the hell am i waiting for. Im starving my family for nothing. Get all you can all the time.

Dont think it matters when starting out, low prices spread word of mouth quicker. Building that relationship and trust is what matters. I wouldnt subscribe if i had no clue what the content was if it was behind a paywall. Worked w my neighbors when he started his lamdscaping businesses, those startups had him flying threw jobs not even a few weeks later he made 20k on a job doing all kinds of random stuff for some reitred old head. Imo that paid off

I would charge $80 all day for that including the sidewalk and porch. I've got more business through word of mouth then I can handle. It's only a side gig. I have a day job but it certainly helps making some extra cash😉

I wish I could find someone to do my driveway for $100. I have a small one car driveway. When I cleaned it several years ago, it only took me 30 minutes. A $250 minimum charge is too much.

It's a good deal for the customer, not so much for the person doing the work

I do $175 minimum service fee no matter how small

I don't want any pity business like a child, "I'm doing $100 driveways, you want it or not?"

The real way to make money is how you go from "owner operator " to recruiter

I would say at least $100 per car size driveway, so two car driveway $200 and that’s a low bid
