Ur chain was probably plated not solid gold
@FadeRunner136 ай бұрын
Its plated 18k, gold doesn’t just “turn” silver. The 18k gold has worn away and exposed the underlying silver

You gotta stop being cheap and spend the money on real 18k jewelry and stop buying that gold over silver crap, Then you wouldn't have that issue.

Pure 24k gold isn't pure gold. And it isn't used for ingots. Not sure about coins. If you're invest in gold and buy ingots it's usually poured pure to 999.99% (Au)

Hey Timothy! Thanks for the comment. I think you might be mixed up on terminology. 24k gold is technically pure gold. 24k has the same meaning as 99.99% Au, it just depends on the industry or location for which term is used.

24k means 24/24 parts gold = 100% or 99.999% if you want to get technical. It certainly is pure gold for all intents and purposes
