Is 'A Bug's Life' Disney's Best Movie Game? | i don't have a nose

Күн бұрынOkay, so some parts of this video might seem a little hyperbolic and I'm certainly not disputing that I am likely a little biased in my opinion, but I felt as though this game deserved a much better video than the review I uploaded years ago. While I'm not proud of that particular video, I didn't want this to be a 're-review'. Although some parts of this tread old ground, this is a largely new, far more analytical look at just how well the movie is represented by this vastly underrated game.
I'll admit it's a bit of a hot mess of a video as I discuss various aspects of the game that are tangential to my point, but I wanted to retain as much of the material as possible as I don't intend to do another complete video on this game again. In short, this is essentially a love letter (love leaf?) to my absolute favourite childhood movie game, and contains a whole bunch of reasons why I think other movie games should've taken a leaf out of Flik's book (or tree). I do have one question about this game: since the bugs are SENTIENT, how exactly does the enemy bugs you fight factor into this🤔 are they the equivalent of animals in this case the way the bird is still feral?😅

This game was my favorite as a kid. I remember playing this at my grandma's house every time I visited or stay at her house. So this review is going to be BUG-astic! Just don't be squishing A BUG'S LIFE 🐜💙 while reviewing this game.😃👍

The game ost truly goes hard. Though, kid me panicked at the final boss-sounding music for the first boss.

The cliffside is dandelion flight is not beyond the grass barrier of level 1 next to offering stone but 8 feet from the tree on the other side of the island (the island is 19 feet wide at its widest)

As a kid I originally played the N64 version, so I had to get comfy with the controller of the console (I at first used the D-pad when I first used an N64 controller until I figured out in my tiny kid brain that I could just hold the middle part of the controller that had the analog stick). Having played the Ps1 version years later, it was a bit surprising to me how much better the Ps1 version looked in presentation. I agree that as a game following the plot of the movie that it's the better game than Toy Story 2, and as someone who's played A Bug's Life for Ps1 a good couple times I'd say it's underrated, now gameplay-wise I prefer Toy Story 2 for all intents and purposes as I love a good collect-a-thon platformer, but I still like the A Bug's Life game and what it has to offer.

The hill in the background of Cliffside is not the anthill but the boulder at the edge of ant island since Cliffside is opposite the offering stone of ant island beyond Clover Forest

That was truly a Amazing review. I watched bugs life for the first time few months and I really like it. It's great that the game managed to such a good job with adapting it. Aside from the Thumper as a first boss and not the penultimate one, I really like this game. I don't understand why it got so low scores back in a day.

If you want a good Disney movie game, you should try "Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue." It does a REALLY good job making an open-level platformer out of both the movie and a toy-sized world.

I had this game on PC and I remember playing this, where it was a challenge to collect all the movie clips. It was hard to get all the grains, kills and everything.

GERSH DERNIT, I MISSED IT AGAIN! F U P Alright that's it, i've got to get better at keeping track of being in time to attend the premiere! Used to be a lot more consistent about this. I’ve been told the movie bugs’ life is the first movie I saw (although given I was very young and apparently slept through it, I was like a toddler ok?😂 who knows if that counts 🤷♀️) but I admit the game looks fun. I’ll probably never figure out which Toy Story game an old friend owned years ago given my memory of seeing it is kinda faded but i think i played the piglet game once 🤔
