@@blomabrainsout he won't. But I tried it and it works. Not worth it tho if u play lots of games or do lots of stuff just stick with normal dpi. It's a pain to edit everything at the speed of your dpi

@@Curious_soull IPS with 60 is worst and has tracking issues. You can't track properly. It loses tracking. This will be the greatest disadvantage in gaming. So, it's best to go with IPS min. of 150. See the specs of mouse before buying.

If u want speed and presicion but not too slow and too fast I recommend 1000 dpi to 1200 dpi that’s for the best of both worlds

In game like apex dpi has an inpact on your gameplay for a example a sens of 800 dpi 1.0 in game and 1600 0.5 in game might seam Like same thing and Got the most part it is but think of dpi as a sensitivity of your pc sistem so when you are outside of the game 800 and 1600 dpi are not the same and that hapends in game when you are in any sort of menu whitch include deadbox so a higher dpi acts differentlly in a box whitch is a reasion why controler players have a slider for cursor menu spead whitch is same thing a different sens for looting compared to actually aiming in game but don't stres about dpi play what every you find confortable for you as a player also sry if its hard to read my coment im not a native English speaker so a have some problems with grammar

if you have 1600 dpi change windows sens to 4/11, this will make the cursor speed same as 800 dpi with 6/11. most fps game have raw input so this window sens wont affect your sens in game (cm/360)

@@lampwork69 that Windows Sean is the row input out side the game so no multiplayer is aplayed but again dpi si not gonna chenge your game drasticlly Ist not some cheat code to getting Better armorswaps so play whatever you find most confortable

It is not up to preference. If you have a good mouse, it will work consistently and 0.5 sensitivity on 16k dpi will be faster, more accurate and more consistent than 1 sensitivity on 8k dpi.

Hey. I’m wondering. So like I just started playing on PC and I’m playing overwatch and all I see are converters and stuff blah blah. I have no idea what my other games sens was I haven’t played any. I’m basically brand new on pc. All I know is I set my mouse to 1600 dpi that’s it😂😂 should I just max my ow2 sens out? I am so very confused wtf r people using these 3.1 sens and I have no idea about any of this I literally have no idea what to do. All I know is 1600 dpi idk what anything else is

Great question! I would generally say set you sensitivity way lower than you think it should be (in game) play with that for a day or two then adjust accordingly. It depends per game. In games like Tarkov, Apex legends, and CS I play very low sens but in games like that I play higher. It is all preference based on what you are doing. Mouse control is king. If you feel out of control lower it.

look up the average edpi of pro players in a game of your choice and divide it by your dpi. The number that represents your edpi is your sensitivity in-game multiplied by your dpi, it's a consistent way to compare sensitivities in a given game. Edpi's change from game to game though as the formats of sensitivities are often different (for example a game like fortnite using percentages with the max being 100% and valorant where the max is 10.0)

you can also just go by feel and see what you perform best on but a lot of times newer players will pick extraordinarily slow or fast sensitivities and then wonder why they don't progress much

@@Beanpolr i am completely aware that polling rate isnt equal to dpi. that doesnt change the fact that you will never get to a high polling rate using 400dpi. as an extreme xample lets use a 4k polling rate. moving the mouse with 400dpi with human movements - even if set at 4k, it will never actually reach 4k. if you use it with 1600dpi, you will reach it espcly during flicks etc. the polling rate or 4k isnt constant. it "looks for it 24 7", which is what makes 4k drain the battery insanely quick for wireless mice, but it never reaches it on low DPI. look for a polling rate checker, set your DPI to 400 and your polling to 4k. you will notice that you will not really be able to reach 4k with normal movement. now set it to 1600 (or even 3200) and you will notice that you will reach it. its not THAT known yet sadly, but a bunch of aimers already adjusted up their DPI and lowered their ingamesens to be on their same cm/360 still.

@@cheyhey2170personally unless I specifically use 400 dpi I cannot use the same cm/360 on 800 or 1600. I have to lower my sens a bit lower than what my cm/360 usually is as they feel way different to me. I don’t understand how people say it’s the same when it’s very clearly not. Because they’re registering more input I’m missing more shots and it feels faster. It’s like putting your deadzone down to 0 on controller when you’ve never used it before youre gonna miss. Idk if it’s just a getting used to thing but I’ve tried using it for weeks on higher dpis at the same cm/360 and i just can’t hack it unless I lower my sensitivity. When I play with 800 dpi on CSGO for example I play about 1 sens and 2.5 when I’m on 400 dpi. And on 1600 I use about 0.37
