Aatrox v. Ksante matchup was pretty common in pro play. It depends on the player but usually the Ksante wins, Kiin who is one of the best toplaners in the world is a big Ksante merchant. Aatrox itself is very commonly picked and is by no means bad in pro play. There's a ton of Aatrox mains in pro play though like Kingen.

To answer you in 1:37, in my experience as a viewer in the proplay from the 3 regions, Aatrox was the pick for Ksante but alot of the players pick Renekton, Zac, and even Rek'sai because they are capable of dealing %health damage. (Zac idk) To add, I think Aatrox was often built with Profane and NOTHING ELSE which may yield insane damage and omnivamp but also makes the champion pretty damn squishy when caught.
