The volume on this recording was very low. If you can adjust it, you might want to consider increasing the volume. Thanks for reaffirming the law for me.

I’m on the younger side, and I had a VR expert with the initials of C.M, tell me I’m too young maybe I should continue schooling 🤨 after I told him all of my disabilities that are affecting my ability to work. He only takes the ones that are easy for him. So I’m just looking for another one. Right now I’m 60% and still waiting for my anxiety claim, that was diagnosed in service . It’s all aggravating

thinking about TDIU. I'm receiving SSDI (2018), Lower Back, and PTSD). VA disability in 2022 lower back 40, bilateral sciatica 20 each leg, PTSD 30, tinnitus 10. 80 percent total. Haven't worked since 2015. I'm 62 years old and not getting any better. VA Dr. issued permanent DV handicap tags. Does SSDI and VA being the same disability will that help with my claim. All are service connections injuries. Should I file, what is your opinion. Thank you

Just wondering about a veteran's cost for your services aimed at increasing disability rating. My rating is now 70% and I applied for an increase based upon diabetes complications as a Vietnam vet. I am being slow rolled after 300 days since applying. And yes, they do have the claim. But my question is about my cost to hire your services with them. I have zero idea on that issue. Can you provide a two sentance response here?

I'm sorry, but I think the age of the veteran makes a difference. When your over 55 or close to that age the VA considers that you are more likely to be unemployable. In my case I wasn't even 55, but close, and they gave me 100 percent P and T. The doctor asked me what percent I consider my disability and I said 70 percent. I feel they raised it due to my age and I have read that the VA does consider the age.

Same here, I left the military with a 10 percent rating for a lower back injury when I was 23. I went 27years before filing a claim for an increase because I just kept dealing with the pain. My wife finally broke down crying one day because it hurt to see me suffer. The doctor that did my c & p exam said the aging process makes injuries get worse over time and couldn’t believe I waited so long to get help. I was awarded 100% p & t and I know being 50 years old made a world of difference.

Not true, I am 59 and they decided to reduce my.rating for my knees. I get social security for the same thing. I can barely walk or stand because I have bone in bone. Why would they even think that arthritis get better...you lose all you cartilage. I don't even know what quack doctors that are deciding these case. They reduce it so I couldn't get 100% after I got award for migraine s. VA are lie down and dirty. I spent 40 year in the military....why wouldn't my knees be that back. I appealed it.

@@danielledavis9876 I'm very sorry for your experience. Not that this will do you any good at this point, but I heard in one of these VA groups that once you have 100% P and T you should not try to get a rating for anything else or they could reduce your rating. Have you tried to get knee replacement through the VA? You don't need to respond but I know people who have. I hope things get better for you.

@@61CatLady14 I didn't have 100%. , I would not file another claim. I am not getting a knee replacement, I am gonna spend my own money and try the stem c we LL treatment

I would say age + medical history is a factor. If you have proof that your condition is either static or has gotten worse, they’ll likely give you P&T. For you Vets out there, you have to keep going to your VA appointments, it will help, trust me!

@@farpyfilps3743 thats a good question. Well I was just awarded 100 and with P&T a few months ago. They cant reduce you unless you put in for a new claim which means they’ll look at all history to see what has improved or gotten worse. But I am still going to appointments, and also because I’m doing chapter 31 VR&E for school and my counsler said I need to keep up with appointments. I mean it cant hurt at all to keep appointments especially if the VA is footing the bill and they are helping with your condition to at least keep them from worsening. But if you dont go, then probably dont put in for more claims or an increase.

@@farpyfilps3743 : One thing to consider is the older we get the higher the probability of needing more specific and expensive meds. If you have a Medicare supplemental insurance program the Rx copays are always via a tier system. Roughly the more they cost the more we pay in copayments. Then the ceiling for catastrophic illness Rx $ is so high Most won’t reach it yearly unless it’s destroying them financially… .
