On 11th of December 2023, The Supreme Court in a 5-0 unanimous ruling upheld the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution and this has put an end to the 4-year controversy around the abrogation of Article 370.
But on one side, While the BJP considers this to be an achievement and a revolutionary move for the progress of Kashmir, on the other side, the opposition does not seem to be convinced even with the supreme court judgement!

Yes but smiling buddha was a secret operations. There were many such operations. No one could challenge that in India. BJP is a government with guts and fast decision making unlike Congress. India lost many opportunities due to this attitude by Congress in the past. I hope if any other government comes into power they don't introduce article 370 again. Nehru accepted his inability to get back POK due to the mistakes done by him. Congress is more into people pleasing, appeasement, foreign validation, divide and rule politics. Congress doesn't have a vision target for the country. Abdul Kalam said a country without vision dies. We being a populated and large country geographically we should be way ahead geopolitically. Civilization identity should be celebrated irrespective of anyones religion.

morons, maharashtra is developed because it was most liberal and socially forward state. Mahatma phule, savitribai phule, tilak, shahu, ambedkar, vinoba bhave was all in Maharashtra. Even Father of Bjp ideology savarkar was in maharashtra. So openness, education and business thrive here. As oppose to other cow belt states where people voted lau yadav just because he provided basic rights for lower castes , UP voted for Bjp ,Sp,bsp just due to caste and ram mandir politics. backward thinking of hariyana and Rajasthan is same. Pakistan was formed in 1947, it never existed so there was no chance of it becoming independent unless it existed. Narrative matters. 2. No where in the instrument of accession food Maharaja Hari Singh added conditions around India's sovereign rights on the state as you mentioned around defence and communication... The instrument was exactly the same as for other states. Again, narrative matters. Jai Hind!

The biggest problem with article 370 was that, it was a protective umbrella for anti national elements in JnK govt. Nowadays intelligence agencies are finding moles in JnK govt and police force. bhai was important hai elections time par ho. Opposition is saying that SC did not tell that can a state be stripped of statehood. Previously CJI said that it was a complex constitutional question. Now if they want they would gain the legitimacy to convert any state to UT. Definitely this could be done in WB, TN, KL at the whims of authoritarian govt. Verdict on 370 wasas expected. But it was very important to say something about the reorganisation acts. Opposition people ae demanding to say something on that. @@proximacentury1110 Still look at performance of non secular countries vs secular ones like Pakistan, Afghanistan are non secular and they perform worst in most of index but many countries of Europe and usa are much more secular and they perform very well in most of parameters. Even though i agree that secular countries have some problems ,they tend to do better in most of factors. Also you just cannot convert a secular country into a non secular one without any sort of genocide or civil war.
