There really are not very many offensive oriented catchers these days in MLB. Rutschman, Realmuto, Smith, and William Contreras are probably the best ones.

I wish he could hit .200! He should be the new MENDOZA Line player! I realize he is a clubhouse leader, but a .187 lifetime hitter making $4 million dollars. I guess with todays salaries he is worth it!

I love Hedges just wish he was better at the plate. But my god Mckenzie is absolutely horrible. he spiked the ball into the grass twice and threw a ball 6 feet over the catcher. Atleast Carrasco gets it over the plate even though he will throw a meat ball every once and awhile.

I’m so worried about Triston. You can see he doesn’t know where the ball is going and his confidence is in the tank. The man looks shook every time he takes the mound :(

Um no. Jose was like a little kid on Christmas day when he found out hedges was coming back. Said Jose hedges is the missing link we didn't have in 2023.
