It depends on what the mod creator feels like. If they want to be consistent with the vanilla game, probably no bootstrapping. If they want funnies, bootstrapping.

good idea to have bootstrapped statements in your mods because that way you can use the bootstrapped statements as a puzzle mechanic

But a question with "and" inside it is only true if both things are true. Think of it this why, when you ask "are x and y both z", then the answer is no unless *both* x and y are z, replace are with is, and that's basically how it works. If an object is yes, then all questions its involved in are answered with yes, so if there's "x is yes", then all questions involving x are answered with yes, so the answer to "is x and y z", is yes. Therefore, both x and y are z.

@@Izzythemaker127 the question should've been "is x OR y, z" this way it works just like you said, OR means that it just needs one of the two are YES or both are YES, AND means that both need to be YES.

@@andreap5420 If something is yes, then all questions involving it are true, but with an and, they both have to be true, because its *and*, and with an or, one, none, or both could be true, so "does x or y something z" would make "x something z" if x is yes, but if its an and, either their both true, or neither is true, so "does x and y something z" either has to do nothing, or make "x something z" and "y something z", so if x is yes, then because the question "does x and y something z", contains an x, then the answer to the question has to be yes. In this case the only meaning yes can have is for x and y to both something z. Think of it as a question in regular english. If someone asks you "hey have name1 and name2 finished a thing", then if one of them or none of them have, you would say no, and you would only say yes of they both have. But if you replace the and with an or, then if at least 1 has finished the thing, you would say yes. And the yes property forces you to say yes in the simplest possible way, so if baba is yes, and "is baba and crab you" exists, the only way to make the answer to that yes is for both baba and crab to be you. If baba is yes, and "is baba or crab you", then it could be both baba and crab that are you, but it could also be just baba is you, which is simpler.

​@@Izzythemaker127 It's the implementation of AND that is wrong, look Truth tables en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_table, if you have two variables that could determine an outcome, if you're linking them with an AND, they both have to be true to have a true outcome, that means that X AND Y have both to be YES in order to have a positive outcome. i'll try to format it simple here X Y -> Z 0 0 -> 0 0 1 -> 0 1 0 -> 0 1 1 -> 1 with zeroes meaning you don't have X is YES and ones meaning you have X is YES
