We Americans are friendly. We invite everyone around to join our celebrations! No harm intended, all intentions were good. As Mark understood by his good natured comment her in the comments. It is tedious to deal with those who are perpetually offended on behalf of someone else. As in most cases, in this case the supposedly potentially aggrieved is not offended in the least.

If you've learned American English, Mr villaescusa, you're absolutely correct. However, British English speakers use the plural for collective nouns such as "team." This was one of the many differences between American English & British English that I learned when I spent a summer at the U of Cambridge about 54 years ago. Nonetheless, kudos for your astute observation!

Bowden is one of the best of The Behavior Panel panelists and sure hope he steps out more on his own. When I watch evals on TBP I am oftentimes put off by Scott Rouse (?) who is unprofessional and disrespectful (IMO) of his viewers. Bowden is the total opposite of that.

I actually like the job that KJP is doing. When she first started, I thought that she was God-awful and totally incompetent. Now, however, she is being sent out to defend the indefensible. How many people have done that? I can tell you that it's one tough job. I honestly think that she is making the best of a bad situation given the instructions she must be receiving from her superiors. That doesn't mean that I'm buying what she's selling, it's just really hard to do better than what she is doing.
