Well we know if he doesnt do well it isnt because of lack of weapons from key, brown, maclin, cottrell, stephebs-brown, shamar porter, khamari Anderson, & jordan dingle. Those are above ave receivers all over. Depending on vandagriffs play never know what may happen, with the improved O-line....our D (if adding a quality CB) ahould keep us in games to around 20pts or so. Up to the offense to go win it now, those FR that started since then have grown up now.

As always Blaine, I think you do a very good job of assessing and reporting......................For my UNfiltered view of Hamdan, I will say this: He runs an advanced high school offense in my opinion. He is bottom 3rd, as in a solid bottom third OC in the SEC in 2024. Liam Coen was at the very bottom of that same third last year. Bush is a BIG upgrade from that HIGHLY OVERRATED OC.;.and I was saying that during his first tour, where he had a top three Oline, a TOP RB, a TOP WR, and a really good running QB, with sporadic accuracy. He underachieved at 10-2 in my opinion. Had great potential to do even better, but he lacked a KEY INGREDIENT, just as BUSH does.....and that is TIGHT END USAGE. Coen used TE"s as blockers. Period. Had 30 or so catches last season, and that is a FAIL EVERYTIME IN THE SEC. That's 16.7% of your offense in standard sets not being utiliized, giving the defense a HUGE advantage. DC's don't have to spend much if any time on the TE at UK. Hamdan's Boise STate TE's caught 20 passes last season. We call that LITTLE LEAGUE. Look at ANY GREAT OFFENSE and they will USE the TE as a BIG WEAPON. Fact...............My take here is Bush will be better than Coen, which is NOT a big deal, as Coen was truly pitiful. Evidence of the Peter Principle being real, lol. Thankfully we know he won't be back a third time....and yes, TB will suck. He'll finally get exposed as M E D I O C R E ; ) Personally, I like the things you showed about Bush, but he has got to GROW this summer and ADD the Tight End to his arsenal. I mean, TE's need 60 catches minimum in 2024 to even get close to having a really good offense. The tools are ALL THERE. Skill all over the place. Coaching UPgrade on Oline. New players on Oline too. Holes have been filled. Need another RB from portal for back up and depth, but that is not a big deal. We have others, they are just young, so we'll be fine....and the NCSTATE transfer can run as well......................All in all, I don't expect Bush to pick up the TE usage much. He's going with what he knows, and that is the vanilla high schoolish approach he used at Boise...........I didn't even get into his prep and usage of the Trick Play. The great ones always have one or two up their sleeves. It's a MOMENTUM BREAKER. FEW OC's understand this, as they are really and honestly not very smart. Think I'm wrong? Go look at the poor offenses across the league, and go look at both factors mentioned herein....BINGO!...........Anyway, I will be watching the Cats, but don't expect a top offense, due to homogenous approach to football. DYNAMIC is not and has never been a Bush attribute, yet that nets you $1.25MM in the SEC, LMAO! You canNOT make this stuff up. It's a game, and they don't even coach it to a high level and that's what they get, lol..................Life is Weird folks.....................Keep up your great reports Blaine.
