I watched a few of videos on the Trillium Parka, the Shelburne Parka, and the Rossclair Parka just like this one before I finally made the decision to buy them and I’ve never regretted it. Thank you. This is the only video I could find that covered everything. I have been torn about purchasing one myself. After watching your video I will purchase all three versions for myself and my daughter. Good/pros and bad/cons, now I can go into this pricey purchase educated and not blindsided. You are graceful, professional, and represented the Canada Goose brand beautifully.

Any discoloration yet? It's unfortunate any jacket made from their "Artic Tech" fabric tends to fade and discolor, most of the time with minimal use. Been a problem for years. I've had good luck with their jackets made from "Feather-Light Ripstop" (the ripstop with the small checkers if you look closely, not the smooth incredibly thin fabric that's on some of their jackets)

Love the review. They are all nice and I guess it depends on the look that you are going for. I have the Trillium Parka in xs - love it and I agree, it does have a straight up and down look (rectangle). You can get a more feminine shape if you zip up the lower zipper a bit and use the waist cord to cinch it in. Did you try a xs or just went straight to the small? Did you have to pay a shipping fee when you sent it in to CG using their warranty?

Thank you! 💕 I tried an xs and thought it might be too snug for thick layers. I probably could’ve went down a size! And yes, I had to pay my own shipping to send it in! Shipping may have been included in the price I paid to have it cleaned and returned! But it was worth it!

Hey Jahnise, I’m the same height and build as you and I’m considering ordering the trillium parka, do you regret not getting it in size xs? I’ve tried on the xs one in the store yesterday and it did feel snug around the hips but fit everywhere else and they didn’t have one in size s for me to try on so now idk which one to get😭 if I get an xs I’ll have to wear it with the zipper opened at the bottom, do you wear the one in size s closed? Does it fit too loose?

Hey loved your video! Thank you it was super informative and helpful i just had two questions about the Rosclair the first one being do you feel the zipper that's on the bum area when you sit down? and second does the zipper in the front get cold against your chin or is there material there to protect your face from the zipper? thank you again!!

thank you! yes, there is material to protect your face from the zipper. you don’t feel the zipper when sitting down due to the coat material and whatever pants you have on being between you and the zipper itself.

That was a Kensington parka. I don’t have it anymore and I think it’s been discontinued.

I want to order the Rossclair in size medium since it’s fitted but heard it runs smell. I own two Mackage coats in size M since they are fitted. These coats are not cheap 😌

I haven’t had any problems with the Rossclair sizing but yes definitely not cheap lol !

@@FF-py7rs yes I got it. I could fit the size M, but got a size L. I usually wear a size medium in fitted coats but you can adjust the fit with the inside drawstring in the Rossclair coat so I would get the size L, it will be fine for you.

I got the shelborne parka yesterday which is a Te3 as well, I live in Toronto and I’m afraid I’ll get cold while waiting for the bus during the winter, or going for a walk. What do you think?

Hi, the only thing that is cold when I wear this coat is the area not covered by the coat (legs, etc). Otherwise, im very very warm when I wear it.

That green Rossclair color is not available online . Where did you get that color from??

No, it’s not available anymore because I got it in 2018. it’s Algonquin green.

It's all relative. You buy what you can afford and what your affordability. Same with everything in life. We all want fancy things, you decide if you can afford it. just sayin

I agree with this^^ also, I’ve had some of my Canada gooses for YEARS. It’s expensive but once you consider cost per wear it may make the price more reasonable. You can also check out sales to find less desirable colors for more affordable prices during warmer months!

Thank you for the review it was great! I was debating which one to get & I decided im getting the rossclair because I dont want to look so boxy😂. However, im sad because canada gooses no longer come with fur hoods😢😢. Imo thats what gave the coat its posh look🙄🙄.

@@Shana911 yes for over $300 more than it was worth before🙄. They basically took off a significant feature & still charging the same, then upped the price for the old model with the fur hood😒.

The fur will no longer be offered on Canada Goose Jackets in 2023 due to pressures from animal rights groups. That would not deter me from buying one of the best jackets on the market. If you want to stay warm buy a Canada Goose jacket.

On Etsy you can buy real fur trim .. take it to a seamstress or tailor and add it to the hood with a zipper .. not all is lost … I love goose and the fur is so nice

@joannecase7730 0 seconds ago Quality is terrible. Customer service is even worse. The fleece collar was worn and Canada Goose refused to fix the collar or replace it. I even offered to buy a replacement and they would not even do that. They say they are exceptional quality and have a warranty, but they lie. Will never buy another CG item again.
