Great video! We tend to always buy a fast lane + on weekends and definitely during Halloweekends. This past year it cost a little less than the previous year at $199. And the newest thing to make it even worse is the "one time" use fast lane plus tickets. We never got the price......but there were people buying tickets to get on each coaster. And as result the fast lane lines were longer than I've ever seen them.

I wish they would sell a pass where everybody could ride each ride once so that way if someone's out of town they could enjoy their day but then it's not pulling up the line for everybody else

From the perspective of having All Season Fast Lane, by far the most annoying aspect that definitely makes CP's Fast Lane not as good as Kings Island or Carowinds are the merges. There have been so many moments where the line has been short enough where Fast Lane hardly saves anytime (or none at all even) with how far back the merges are with Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force. I would say though if this a person's only trip they can make to CP, getting Fast Lane definitely can make sure as long as the rides run a person can ride everything in a day. And yes of course there are many times even with the merges I have saved big time having Fast Lane and I myself can't imagine being there without it. But in the end I would say to someone be weary that Cedar Point's Fast Lane might not deliver to your expectations with it's poor execution and design.

Not a hot take but actual reality: i used to ride every ride easily before fastlane existed. Fast lane's existence slows the lines down for everyone that isnt shelling out 150+ extra dollars at their visits. Based on lots of experience it appears that fatmst lane riders are given about 50% of the seats. Those 3 hour lines people complain about would be

Honestly I’d have to say it’s not worth it. I was at the park this past Saturday and saw that the fastlane line for Valravn was 45 minutes as compared to over 2 hours on standby. I was with my son and we hit the smaller stuff (less waiting…and we did not have FLP) and ended up leaving early. At $250 per plus my regular admission, I would expect to be walking on everything (as I’ve done at KI in the past). I’m also of the opinion that their current system kills the standby line too. They either need to limit the numbers or (much as I hate to say it), price the average Joe out of it so fewer are sold. I think this helps both the fastlane and standby lines. Maybe I sound like a spoiled local season passholder, but rather than dropping $250 and STILL waiting 30-60 minutes, I’d advise someone to plan their trip around the crowds, meaning Tuesday-Thursday in June or late August. You can actually catch some “dead” days if you plan it right…or even still get the FLP at a lower price and actually get to walk on the rides. A day like this past Saturday is simply miserable for everyone, there is really no better description. Food lines were pushing 60 minutes, kids rides, flat rides…it was all at a gridlock. I guess they don’t mind as it all means 💵 for them, but the park experience has really gone down big time lately, to the point where I’m tempted to make the 4-hour drive to KI more frequently than the hop-skip to CP next year.

I will always have it all season for all parks. The alternative is 3-4 hour lines at CP.

Cedar Point needs to find ways to improve their fast lane system like building new lanes for fast lanes that merge like gatekeeper, raptor, rougarou, magnum, millennium, and steel vengeance so no more merging with the normal line. So basically for gatekeeper build new extra stairs, raptor new stairs toward the station same for magnum, Rougarou new bridge and stairs toward station. For millennium new bridge or modifying the bridge with 2 lines to the station and same with steel vengeance 2 lines toward the station. CP needs to find ways to minimize the waits in fast lines and overpayments of wristbands so everything would be walk ons and no more waiting in fast lines so everything is worth it.

I think it depends on how far you had to travel to get there. If you can drive there it might not be necessary since you can just go back whenever you have a free day, but if you're buying plane tickets and a hotel you probably don't want to waste any time in a long line.

it you are going to spend a few thousand dollars spending a few days here, just add the FP into the budget and call it a day. its 100% worth it

Can I ask how bad the lines would be Aug12-18? I know you can’t guarantee but I am really hung up on last week of august vs that middle August period The only reason I’m even considering middle august is because the park stays open till 10. I have budgeted fast lane into my trip and everything I want to ride ALOT. I would never ask you to guarantee anything but how big a difference do you think we would talking in waiting lines

Everyone here is complaining about how not all coasters have fast lane up to the station, but at Hersheypark, there is no fast lane rides that get you up to the station. I wish they did that. And I’m over here thinking of how lucky people are when they get Fast Lane at Cedar Point

No mention of the $99 regular season pass contributing to crowds?

They should do Fast Lane passes for kids and their rides also.

The merge points are really not that bad. You typically don’t need to wait more than 15 minutes because the operations are so good

Fastline hurts the cue because of a half fast lane person is running two or three times and the regular line waiting person is writing once then that's just making the lines worse overall

It really is too bad that they have a capacity problem and can’t chew through the lines, fast lane and standby, as fast as some of the other parks. I really do like the rides but it seems like every year CP gets lower and lower on my list of parks to visit because the overall experience isn’t enjoyable compared to the other parks.

Meh maybe not. But all season fastlane seems worth it.

Wild Mouse sure is going to break records, records for the longest wait times ever at CP. Most days, I can't really do CP without a fast pass. I don't have the patience. Year round fast lane is the way to go if your there weekly or every other week. Its also a bonus when going to smaller parks. Even at Michigans Adventure, walking onto Shivering Timbers beats waiting 15 mins for it. Their fast pass wristband is so generic that its funny

I hate to commet on these viseos buttttttttt. I got a fast lane plus fro the 4th 2023. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm Helllllllllll yaaaaaaa it was woitrh it. I walk on most costers on that day. I wait maybe 10 minutes for milleume force but every othere one yepp walk on maybe 5 minutes. I went on valraven 5 times and yes i got front row when i ask for it!!!!!!!!!! So yes yes omg yesssssssssss. If you have the money its ooo worth it
