I have had my eye/ear on Celtic Era for a while, great to hear the different instruments being played. Surprised by the quality of the sounds and the pads were a bonus.

I agree, the content is amazing, but is held back somewhat by the Best Service Engine Player. I have hoped that this will see a major revamp soon.

That section of the playing around 52:00 is very nice.

Yep, it is pretty cool listening to these. I should have set up two tracks for this, with one handling the drone and the other taking care of the melody. This set of pipes did not have the drones built into the patch, but were more complicated regarding the number of articulations they were trying to cover. Thanks as always my friend for the kind support. Joyfully. 🎹

I've been using the original Celtic Era for a while and didn't expect to see one of these videos so soon after its release. It seems like Celtic Era 1's libraries are ported over directly, but that's no issue since the libraries were already of such a high quality. I guess the deciding factor on whether to upgrade is whether you can make use of the additional instruments. If you want celtic instruments, celtic era can't disappoint.

Really enjoyed your "kid in a sweet shop" deep dive. Having checked out EWQL Ra, Ethno World and Symphobia 1, Celtic Era seems to have the best Uillean Pipes. Just wish you would checked out more of the soundscapes but still very enjoyable thank you.
