I'm not a religious person anymore, I consider myself a "recovering southern baptist", but the old lady at 1:04 is exactly correct: we've long forgotten what it's really about. Regardless of my views today, I still find the story of the Nativity hopeful. Today it's commercialization on steroids, especially when you consider we're in an era of hyperinflation & insurmountable debt. It's sickening. It's not really even about trees and Santa. I kinda don't blame the guy who hated Christmas, I'm turning into a scrooge myself. Even Easter has long been co-opted, strangely enough by bunny rabbits and eggs.

Religion is a tax free business but without it we would have to work those holidays so I say keep it going I need every paid day off I can get.
