However, gaining experience and expertise in a specific field will open up more opportunities. I am soon enlisting in the Marines and have completed the necessary steps, including submitting my medical paperwork. I have excelled in physical training and scored a 72 on the ASVAB. It is crucial to thoroughly understand your options and consider the military as a backup plan, ensuring that you meet the qualifications and avoid any choices that could hinder your enlistment. It is possible to begin college and complete it at a later time, as long as you pass your classes to earn credits. Starting college at a later age, not necessarily at 18, is also an option to consider. Many students are pushed through the education system, leading to gaps in their knowledge and skills. College requires a strong foundation in education, as professors may not provide explicit guidance on exams. Self-discipline, good study habits, and a deep understanding of the material are essential for success in college.
