To be able to even hold up against the best of the best, at SEVENTEEN, is pretty damn good. Let alone to have stretches of game where he was controlling things.

Yup... I lit said a year or 2 ago.. this kid has the potential to be an all time great... and I never say that about players... and then sure enough.. him doing that to the best in the league at 17... is a really good sign..the kids 6'9, has that dog in him, and score/ shoot the hell out of the ball... he's gonna be good.. but I could lit see him being best in the league good

@@chas9196 there’s no American, white or black, on the level of the guys coming out of Europe right now. Flagg is no different. He’s athletic and long and has some skill, cool. Jokic, Luka, Wemby, etc are on another level. The last great American player on that level was LeBron. It might be another 20 years before we see a American player of that caliber. It definitely won’t be Flagg though.

They love tryna market a white player as the next great white hope , this is a trend in American media going back to when Jack Johnson was beating everyone. I think what Melo is saying is let him enjoy the moment and come up like everyone else. Yea Flagg is good but the media loves hype they wanna build a buzz around his name. Same as they did Chet, who don’t get me wrong is a good player but he’s not dominating the league the way they hyped him up. And even someone like Tatum who is a top tier player it took him years to mature and get to where he is now. Same with Luka , or Jocic or Any other top level player . The only player to dominate from day one that’s still playing is Bron .

You sound insecure in your skin and racist. They literally hyped LeBron since he was like 15, his high school games were all over ESPN, Wemby has been getting hyped forever too. It has nothing to do with being white, there's literally never even been a white guy with any hype like this, probably ever.. It has to do with skill, he's just that good.

Like your comment is dumb asf, LeBron's high school games were literally getting televised on ESPN when he was like 15, Wemby has gotten massive hype since he was a young teenager too.
