Really - who? We didn't have a replacement for him after he left and actually do not have a specialist free kick taker even in today's squad. Consistently successful DIRECT free kicks are not a common thing. The memories we have are of exceptional freaks of nature. Real Madrid relies on getting the ball into the zone from a free kick... we have enough scorers to latch on to a loose ball and score. A consistently successful direct free kick taker would be welcomed... sadly not many around today.

When Ronaldo was much younger he already got his chances although there were big name senior players in the team. Ronaldo should just step aside for a while and empower the younger players as a leader of the team. Leaders don't have to do everything you know. They younger players are also good and ambitious, not him alone.
