Me personally, I don't have a pc so I only do mobile version, but most pc players make fun of mobile. This video shows me that mobile version isn't smth to be ashamed of :)

I would also like to point out that 80% of the stuff you just mentioned was all released to dbd mobile WITHIN THE LAST YEAR. I played dbd mobile until I purchased the original game on console during the 9th anniversary event. The clans, the unique skins, the emotes, the events, and so so much of what you just mentioned looks alien to me from what I saw when I played mobile a year ago. The fact that they are able to do so much for the game in a year compared to how long it takes behavior to add anything to the main game is rediculous.

Back when behavior owned dbd mobile on and before 15th march 2023 , u could also get auric cells by doing daily/weekly like iri shards as well as 50 auric cells by watching an ad via just some luck.Crazy!

I don't know how the pc version doesn't have these useful and better features that mobile has. I think the game would get a LOT more popularity with those small, useful, subtle features and changes that the mobile version has

I have over 3,700 hours on the PC version and have only ever played mobile a few times. I had no idea about the differences on mobile because I hate the controls. It's crazy that they have not brought these improvements over to PC.

I played both and DBD mobile is definitely better. Being able to see how your perks synergize with your teammates is a massive bonus and the look back button is also really good. It doesn't really lack on anything significant but it does improve on the PC version of the game.

Here’s my thoughts and opinions on dbdm. So I’ve been playing dead by daylight mobile since 2020-2021 I’ve had a long journey of experiencing the game and back when BHVR owned it. We didn’t get any new chapters, skins or even content. Since bhvr let netease have the game. It has been so much better! Netease has bring new chapters, characters and new maps. We just got pale rose(hags map) and I am so excited for that. I just personally think netease did a big favor for BHVR because if bhvr still owned dbdm they wouldn’t put any new effort in their mobile game. I’m thankful that netease made an effort to bring us a Christmas event with snowman’s, and being able to jumpscare your teammates! I love playing dbdm do I think it’s better then pc and console dbd? Hell no we have our own problems with lags, optimization and graphics. But I will say dbdm has my heart with the skins and gacha system. I would say play whatever system you want. Nothing wrong playing on dbdm some of us don’t want to play on console or pc dbd.

I switched to mobile just for the skins. I will say it is unfortunate we probably won't get all the license chapters. Just a patch or two ago they removed all Silent Hill references in the files. One other thing I dislike about Mobile is theres still so many maps we don't have. They also just recently put in the Thompson House yet it's the old version from like 2019. Why? Lmao Also, I really wish mobile had a Shrine of Secrets option. I really don't wanna have to play another character to have a chance to get their perks. Especially since leveling up takes so long.

I like the all the extra enhancements/features put in since NetEase started managing it. Also mobile is easy to just pop in no matter where I’m at, play a few matches and then pop out. But gotta get used to touch screen controls if you’re not used to that - best to practice against the bots.

Atleast we don’t have to pay $200 on core for a gamble just for one cosmetic… it’s honestly bs that dbdm has gambles

When Dbdm came out I loved it. But after a few years and the insane changes they did… I prefer the console/pc version I’m still upset that they removed characters (and skins) that I paid for like Cheryl

I love dbd mobile and the cosmetics it makes me spend money I shouldn’t😂 but also I don’t have console so mobile is all I got and it has changed a lot then when it was first on and it’s interesting because I still have games of old dbd mobile on my channel and I’m shocked by how much better it is there are some things I don’t like but other then that it’s a really awesome game I play it when I can and I have fun usually unless I’m against sweaty toxic players who are just to annoying and bad for their own good😂😂 thanks for making a video this was awesome 👏 Merry Christmas and have a beautiful blessed day!! I have played both, starting in mobile and moving to console. I miss some of the features on mobile but i feel like the console version is just better, it feels so much smoother to me.

Those quality of life details on mobile are amazing

My only problem with the game is that the RE Chapters are probably never coming to DBDM. Although, i saw thay RE made a Collab with another mobile game.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue with mobile is that it's filled with bots. Get to rank 1 and you will often be matched with 1 or 2 bots during non-peak hours. In my experience, DBD mobile is also more prone to latency issues though the problem has slightly improved. However, there are still times that I will find myself pre-dropping pallets and getting smacked across them because the killer is located in Mexico. That's not fun. There's also significantly less map variety as well. For those reasons, it's objectively not as enjoyable of an experience compared to PC.

I believe many if these quality of life changes are influenced by the fact Netease made Identity V, and a lot of these features are already present in that game.

Honsetly i kinda like gacha system becasue you can get green yellow purple outfits from it insted of waste shards and AC on it and yes some AC outfit can be get from gacha (talking about gacha with Sinstones since it is f2p friendly by just doing daily and weekly tasks)

The most feature i really love when try play on mobile is that you see other teammate perk. Some perk in dbd is really really hard to use if your teammate didn't know your perks. There are chat system before enter the match but no one pay attention

I tried mobile. It may have more stuff. But it also has a horrific gatcha system where they come out with amazing looking outfits that youd love to have, and then you try for it and it could take over 70-100$ trying for the one outfit you want, then you manage to get it, abd within 2 weeks they come out with something even nicer. Mobile will make people waste entire paychecks. I just uninstalled and never looked back no matter what they add to it

Its pretty chill to geht the Alina through gacha btw, if you play consistent you will get them bc you can lock the one you want so you have a chnace on every role

I play DBD mobile exclusively on an iPhone 15+. I haven’t ever tried the PC or console versions. But I can tell that trying to loop as a survivor on PC/console is probably A LOT easier than on a cell phone. I’m a P24 Bill but still can’t loop for shit. It’s hard to control the screen angle to watch the killer while also trying to run forward.

I always liked both versions(even before when mobile was different from now). But mobile always felt a little ahead in terms of balance and quality of life than normal DbD. The most striking example is the solo que experience of survivors, with way more information to go on.

I’m pretty sure the reason why mobile has all this and pc doesn’t is because they didn’t actually design it. Another game company called netease did most of the designing and they also created a Chinese version of dbd with all these same features but it’s an entirely different game but it kinda shows that netease came up with with all these features

I only recently switched to PC version all I would like to say is, We are the DBD community. We love DBD doesn't matter if Mobile or PC I have 300+ hours on phone and only recently started PC I loved the PC more. The more choices you get the less satisfied you are so no matter what platform there would be flaws and Gains.

The maps on core are much better (except autohaven) but yeah I think I prefer mobile more tbh. I feel like the controls are a lot easier on mobile too.

The thing with dbd mobile is that they treat it as a testing grounds due to the lower risk. They have slowly been implementing features from dbd mobile to dbd pc. So mobile will always have more features because they come to mobile first. This is why I think (hope) that someday in the future regular dbd will look like this.

Even the maps are more atmospheric than the main game.

So.... we're not going to mention that there are many chapters/maps that are still not included in DBD Mobile? I love mobile but I wish they'd add new killers/survivors sooner.

Queue times are a pain compared to core. And prestiging on mobile is so slow. It takes days to prestige a single character, when I could do that in core in 2-3 hours. If they had a permanent 2xp boost in mobile, I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

It's because they are trying to make the console version more "casual" today instead of a competition. It doesn't matter about how good you are and especially if you're in solo que. They don't understand fun.

DBD mobile: donation dump DBD PC: bump without hard donation, way better graphics, and more characters

The thing is I prefer the main game’s grading system because you can game it, especially as unaliver where I can let everyone go free and still earn a ton of BP/XP without having to go against sweatier survivors next trial.

Main downside of the mobile version is the map variety and there are many licensed killers absent. No pyramid head, alien, chucky, nemesis, or Wesker. The licensed stuff here isn’t available because Behavior only rented those licenses for the pc and console versions. The maps aren’t too varied as it is a mobile game… more maps means a lot more space in your storage is needed and that lowers the performance of other features. The skins though… while a grind, you can typically knock out all the challenges, especially killer, in 2-3 matches. Getting the unique skins is simply a matter of time or paying a ton of money. The animations only come with the platinum skins. They take a while to get but are cool.

The crazy thing is even the monetization is better, AND ITS FREE.

I didn't know about the emotes and instantly I thought about at least 10 situations where the emotes would be hilarious. I see a lot of people saying dbd has a spaghetti code which makes it really hard or impossible for devs to implement new features. Wouldn't it better if they make the game again from scratch ? Like Overwatch 2 did but it would mean that we'll probably get less updates and content on "Dbd 1" in order to get more in the future. ( Ow2 has done the transition very poorly and hopefully Bhvr can do better )

I used to play dbd on mobile before I got my gaming laptop, and I can easily say core dbd is 1000% better than dbd mobile, I'm a killer main, and I would say the biggest frustration in the game is the blood market, I used to have all killers in the game, literally all, and trying to get a single addon for a specific killer is a literal nightmare, definitely s dumb mechanic that needs to be reworked, other than that I would say the leveling up mechanic by playing a specific character to level them up makes more sense and is more fun for sure

Basically DBD has better gameplay with fluid movements which mobile doesn't have but DBD mobile has much better Quality of Life system. But for me the main DBD will always be better. If they bring the existing Quality of Life characteristics from mobile to the main game the main DBD will become so much better than mobile. (Please exclude the Gacha system, although yes it gives access to impressive skins that don't exist in main game, it is a horrible money spending system just like in PUBG mobile. You will never be satisfied with one skin.) Now, if we bring the fluid gameplay of main game to mobile, the mobile version will be far far better than the main game. People don't look for graphics as much as for fluid gameplay and easy controls and Quality of Life, we can take the example of PUBG PC and mobile. I play both main DBD and DBD mobile and I love them both because unfortunately I am kind of addicted to DBD lol (mostly killer).

Ignorance is a blessing, the mobile version is designed to spend A LOT of money, they progression system is too slow to force the player to spend dozens of hours just to level up one character , and to get skins is also to empty your wallet

I have mixed feelings, my first time EVER playing as killer in dbd mobile i couldnt get a single hook, the survivor brought brand new parts and flashlights and I was a baby pyramid head who just installed the game

My main problem is not with game it's the devs they made it worse remember in bhvr dbd they used to give us 5-10 aura cells in ritual and the main reason why i hate this is because it lags everytime and what's up with the sensitivity of this like what they really need to optimize the game

My main irk with dbd mobile is that the blood market is also shared for killers, which makes it harder to get addons for specific killers

I played dbd mobile over an emulator for like a week and already had 2 platinum skins from the gacha system, as in dbd on pc im playing it since over a bunch of months and havent had one point where i had enough shards to buy a cosmetic cuz i had to spend em on the killers. Mobiles monetization system even tho being rng is much better

I love mobile. I have a console and I still prefer mobile. I’ve gotten use to the touch controls and honestly it feels better for me personally. I’m happy to invest money into the mobile game because it feels like they are actually trying to make it a better experience for people. I love looping on survivor and playing with friends but I also love playing killer. Blight feels amazing. The update on billy feels more rewarding. Really enjoying the game.

And the other fact that it's better is that you can show off all your stats like blood rank and prestige online ranks and everything

isn't the mobile version like a whole year behind in content? I saw some news that only now are they getting Roots of Dread (but garden of joy isn't actually confirmed?), early 2023 nerfs to DH, COH, and healing and just now did they add the Pale Rose map

It looks like DBDM has more accessibility for low-skill players, with more hooks (no pun intended) to keep them engaged. Gacha, more skins, emotes; they're all good but they don't really do much for the game on a fundamental level. Clans and squads also enable more SWFs overall and I imagine it takes the stress off from losing matches. It's like an entry level version of the game with more toys.

DBD Mobile is probably objectively better but personally I cannot get used to the touch controls

I agree that DBD mobile is pretty incredible for what it is and has a lot more very cool quality of life things that the main game doesnt have, I just think that Netease is kinda ruining how good the game could be by filling lobbies with bots

I played DBD mobile on a business trip where I did not have access to my PC or PS5. I feel like the little things they added are needed on mobile because the controls are so bad. A lot of those changes are not necessary, IMO for the regular game. :) My kids played mobile a little longer than I did, but they still prefer the regular game either on their PC or PS5. *shrugs*

The Character progression bar in Mobile which "uses" the EXP offerings, is not present anymore.

I don't know about the matchmaking with same grade thing. I am at rank 8 and I get matched with people at rank 10. I also hate hiw laggy the game is, I know my phone is older (S10) but I play on the lowest graphics (It looks garbage) yet the I get micro stuttering and lag which makes looping hard and hitting skill checks. Actually deleted the game a couple hours ago because it seems like I can never get good teammates because I solo queue but see the second I play as killer I get the most try hard survivors with their characters at 10+ prestige, flash light abusing and possibly discord vc using survivors. Only thing I hate is that the game lags so until I get a better phone or pc I'm done with it. You were saying you hated the touch controls well you can emulate it on your pc and it should run good. I recommend Bluestacks as the emulator you can use kbm or setup a controller.

id LOVE to know more about dbd mobile; finding info for it is scarce online (no wiki???) so please do make more comparison videos. maybe we can shame BHVR hard enough to get some QoL in a couple years

if i recall correctly, DBD mobile has partial controller support, which is how i played it when it re-released on mobile.

As a dbd console player, i tried playing dbd mobile a few times last week and it seems like the killers were always bots. They would miss 9-10 hits before u just say fuck it i’ll let him hit me lol

"Do your research before you state anything about the game." Such as, look into the development team to see why it is very different.

PC is way easier to lvl the characters i think. It takes bp to level unlike in mobile where you actually have to play the char. I like it like that.

I personally say it’s worse since the mobile game is even less serious than the main game. It has more silly cosmetics than the main game and emotes.

As a mobile player, but have never played pc, pc is better due to the leveling system being much better, it takes forever to level for teachables vs pc which is slightly quicker. Matchmaking is horrible on mobile in that it takes forever (for killer) and you end up vsing a bunch of bots. You'll also get bots as survivor, althought there are parts of mobile that trump pc like the communication system, and match start menu

I think the only shortcoming of dbdm is the phone screen is too small for the game to play. Sometimes I cannot see things on the map very clearly. And also it has so much buttons that I cannot play it very well :\

As a mobile player, Mobile will never better than PC. Because the App takes up space and drains the Phone Battery And most importantly, PC Players get more Survivors, Killers, Maps and Cosmetics. While we have to wait for them to arrive in the Mobile, which god knows when Looping Killers is also better in PC cuz of the wider Perspective 😅😂

I’m pretty sure the reason why dbd mobile has more details and better gameplay’s and skins now compared to OG Dbd is because I think neteast owns half of dbd mobile now and most of the new things you see in dbd mobile like the stats the ranking system the skins and there Gacha system is based on identity V which is owned by neteast and the community for that game is pretty lively I play both dbd and identity v and there basically turning dbd mobile into something similar to it because that avatar border stuff and the gacha and the emotes and just everything different in general identity has those things already don’t quote me on it though it’s just my personal experience

I remember before i bought my pc, i used to sweat to keep my iri 1 rank on dbdm. Only think i dont like on dbdm is if i want to prestige a character, i have to play that character to lv 50. Forced to play hag constantly was an experience.

Actually pisses me off how well developed DBD mobile is compared to the regular version, its like everything players want gets thrown onto the mobile version and we're stuck with this basic ass game that hardly anyone enjoys anymore.
