I personally prefer duos, easier to coordinate with one other person than two others. Also at the absolute end of a match if your team died but the last team alive is a full trio. You have much less of a chance of clutching up a 1v3 compared to 1v2.

The problem with finding 2 team mates is : people work, go to school, r on vacation etc. I know, it's not always like that, but it's harder to find 2 mates that play at the same time than 1. I don't really understand, why u try to play it down with saying, get better, than it's easier to find a trio. Trios is getting boring in the eyes of many many players and watchers. And there's also a lot of what people call ,,snaking" happening in trios. That's also in duos, but way way less

i also think duos is more exiting in endgames. Most of the times the teams who have height in first moving (especially last season) can easily win the games. In duos highground retakes are more often and easier.

if you lose your teammate in trios ggs, every fight against a trio will be 2 kids smacking each side of your wall while the 3rd sits back and sprays at your builds, it just makes everything one sided

The problem of not finding a good trio is something 90% of the community struggles with. I think you're very much underestimating that.

Yes much better then trios and I’m kind of getting bored of trios for FNCS. Also with the map we have now it is very hard to do well in set lobbies with a contested drop. In duos there’s far more loot and you can be contested at a drop and still do well.

You’re talking 99% of the time about really high level pros (like fncs grands level). For the average comp player trying to get into second/third/fourth round in fncs weeks, all of you’re ‘invalid arguments’ are extremely valid and most of the ‘valid’ ones go purely to duos

Duos has always been the best game mode, I haven’t met anyone yet who actually prefers to play/watch trios. It’s nice to see this is actually getting some attention

duos is fun to play and easy to manage having synergy with one gut is managable but the third guy mostly doesnt listen wanders off or does not have a synergy with me and my duo

I think the size of the map means that in set lobbies, we judge who are favourites based of if they are contested or not, making the game super uncompetitive, which is much less of a problem in duos

Ease of finding teammates should be a huge factor in whether or not a game mode is better than another. Even pro-level players like me struggle to find teammates.

I think it’s very wrong to suggest off the bat that the teammates issue isn’t one which also exists at the highest level. Just not in the way you’re imagining it does. Some players are more suited to game modes like duos, and solos in particular, which makes finding a consistent team in trios tough. We see this even with the very best players, this is why so many teams change so often and why so many seemingly good groups of players fail together.

its been 1 and a half year and i still cant find a third for my trio. me and my duo have been waiting all this time for duo trouneys like comeon

To fix the issue kind of (not the perfect solution) of trios being too RNG if ur contested is to somehow make every team be contested. That way it will be somewhat even since everyone will be contested and we can genuinely see who’s the Best team. Or the better solution is to add more POI’s and add back 100% chest spawn. But since epic games can’t for some reason do that prob cos based on your video why 100% chest spawn may be bad the first option could be an interesting one although IMO the second option is much better

I prefer duos because there are only 2 main parts to a good team. The igl and the fragger, some people say that you need a tarper but the igl can do that.

Make duos FNCS a thing but 1. 100% loot chest spawn chance and 2. More POIs(Coral Castle could be split in two POIs, same for the center of the map, it's not being used.

Duos is better in the sense that it makes it easier to review game play and coordinate, with squads and trios it just becomes a massive spray game and there's no honor in that

I'd rather have duos because I've had the same duo for seasons now. We are still a duo after about 2 years. Sure neither of us play the game as much anymore and I swapped to KBM when we both went to PC, but its the fact that neither of us are wanting to switch because we had some success in C2S2 FNCS Console weeks 3 and 4 by making round 2, on top of when we played the warmup and finished 200th in round 2. Plus our chemistry as a duo is great because it's to the point we can switch who igls, who tarps, and who frags very often. Plus, I play on anywhere between 25-60ping because I can't use ethernet and he plays on 20-40 ping because he lives decently farther from the servers than I do.

Trio’s would be good if it wasn’t such bad rng off spawn , they should have 100% chest spawn and also should add more loot in poi’s and on the map in general . That would eliminate the huge amount of rng off spawn for trios . I like trios a bit, but the rng is annoying , like getting contested or griefed has a huge effect in in trios even if you win the fight . Wear as duos and solos has less of an effect if you get contested or griefed .

remember when orgs picked up squads early on thinking the game would match H1 or PUBG’s format lol

its hard to say what one is better than the other but overrall i agree that duos is better, there is pretty much no splitdrops, solos splitdropping a lot, trios not winning at all if contested,trios not much loot so contesting is a problem, a lot more places to loot up without contations in duos, more spots in solos. solos is easily the worst if snipers exist, trios not much, duos 50/50 cut out. better/easier clutch factor, 1v3 not happening most of the time. we can all agree squads is the most chaotic and NOT COMPETETIVE mode.

I disagree with the chemistry part, chemistry isn’t just to do with communication, it’s also to do with actually enjoying your teammates company as friends since you spend a lot of time together. In trios, this is exponentially harder to find since you need all 3 people to get along as friends aswell as teammates.

I think duos will be better because of all of the loot in poi’s and other no name poi’s loot being deleted example the big UFO that middle place was great for split drops all of the henchman chest and launch pad we’re good asf also slurpy after the coral update half the poi was gone think about mitro’s trio and acorn’s trio because of the loot being deleted they all need to think about different loot routs now. So I think if epic keeps this up there won’t being enough loot on the map for trios and solos and duos should be next for comp.
