Many commentators talk about Albania as a corrupt and high crime country, but my question is this: Was there the same corruption in places like Romania and Bulgaria? They became EU members with no standards includet. I understand the reason why they entert the EU but please do not show too many hypocrisies.

Edi Rama&co plus all the other politicians are the richest people in Albania. There are honest hard working people that are escaping their home in hope to find jobs in Europe. As long as we will have people like him in power, there will be no real progress. There has to be a mentality change,it is a long term project, invest and true reform in education. We need to invest in the future generations and not feel the pockets of psychopaths like him. Albania should have good relationships with Europe but we are not ready to be part of it. We need to become stronger before joining the EU otherwise the union will weaken by bad politicians and bad decisions. The Albanians will be the first to suffer.

While watching this, I can only say that this doesnt feel much of a interview... The journalist is indirectly using a sort of bullying by cutting The albanian prime-minister off constantly and dealing with accusations from different parties that are said in ever european countries.

This was a very good interwiew from Edi Rama. PM Rama explained very well , why Albania should be in Europe , because Albania is and belong to Europe, because Albania existed thousend years ago before many other countrys who today belongs in it . Albania and Kosovo together can grow very quickly within Europe Economically and Politically . All Albania is one quarter of London with 2 and a half million people living in there which is going to be no problem for Europe , in a short periode of time under her supervision, to make Albania another Paradise on earth, another Montecarlo.

First of all, let me make something clear: Albanians are neither mafia nor dealers. Drugs & mafia are two words that did not existe in Albania before the year of 1990. If there are today in EU some bosses of mafia with Albanian roots, then they just have good teachers. If there are some Albanians dealer walking down the cities of EU, well there is a larger portions of Europeans who needs their services. Most of the Albanians are hard working people either living in EU or in Albania.
