I personally think getting him right now before someone else snatches him would be the right call given how rare these types of players are. He's a low risk high reward gamble in my opinion in the same vein as Malacia.

But we need two new midfielder. I think we need to sell Fred, McTominay and we shouldn't buy a 29 years old Sabitzer. Instead lets go for maybe Caceido for 70 mill, Tielemans for free and another one like Lavia for 15 million/ Le Fee if he is cheap/Gravenberch who is going to be cheap/ Kovacic who will be cheap. My dream midfield signings will be Caceido, Gravenberch and Kovacic. Caceido is expensive but the other two are real cheap cause Bayern and Chelsea respectively are trying to sell them.

I’ve given up with the standard woodward signings. I don’t want to see United just buying the next biggest name. Players that are less known but have the same or higher potential are players we need to go for. Especially due to the fact we need to get rid and replace many current squad players

We kinda need a deep roster. No more marquee signings and instead sign 5 or 6 guys. I would get a cheap striker like Santiago Gimernez and free agent Marcus Thuram as the strikers and then Caqueret and Enzo Lee Fee and Ugarte in the midfield and Kim Min Jae as CB. All the options are cheap and not too old. You could get all those players for a combined £140m. You could ship out Maguire and McTomminy for £60m combined which reduced the net spend to £80m. Wait a year and get Kane for free. That's sustainable spending.

@almac9203
@almac9203 Жыл бұрын
@@chongdaniel4860 you probably aren't aware of this but United has the highest net spend on transfers in the entire world. We spent more on our squad than City and Real Madrid and Bayern and Barcelona yet we are Europa league rather than UCL standard. The Glazers approach of marque signings simply doesn't work. We have been foolish with the money. We are losing money and are in trouble with FFP rules because of this nonsense. Cacedio was offered to United last year for under £5m and this guy just bossed our Midfield. We didn't sign Cacedio when he was cheap because he wasn't a big enough name to sell shirts. We now want him when his asking price is £90m. Our Scout's identified Haaland a couple of years ago when his price was around £20m but the Glazers didn't want him because he wasn't a big name. This is the kind of nonsense that caused United to be bossed by Brighton. We need a director of football and a scouting network to fix this mess. One marquee signing isn't fixing this mess when the rest of the squad is trash. We need a clean out and new players and we can't afford to fill the team with £100m players. We need some cheaper players. There are tons of good young players throughout Europe and South America and we can get them if we operate like Real Madrid and City and Barcelona.

Loved the video was very interesting but 1 thing I noticed is when you compared enzo and kovacic, you didnt take in to account both players played for very different teams. This is not only the quality of players that surround kova and enzo but also playing styles. I really do think that if you put enzo in to our team with bruno, case, eriksen etc plus ETH coaching him. He will explode in 6 months to a year on to the next level.

Although yes, you could say Le Fee is “a level below” in terms of his progressive passing with (6.46) per 90 in comparison to Eriksens (7.19), Le Fee is a far better progressive ball carrier, with (2.76) to Eriksens (0.96) per 90. Le Fees ability to progress the ball in multiple ways is extremely useful. Next, you said that Eriksen is “a level above” in terms of his creativity in the final third. Yes, Le Fee has a marginally lower xA of (0.14) in comparison to Eriksens (0.15), but when adjusted for possession, Le Fee comes out on top. He also has higher shot creating actions, and completes more key passes. Both players take corners and free kicks for their teams, leaving no room for stat padding. Next, I think you’re slightly underselling Le Fees defensive contributions. Le Fee completes (3.3) tackles per 90, which is the sixth highest of all midfielders 27 and under in Europe’s top 5 leagues. Although his tackle success rate and % of dribblers tackled leaves a lot to be desired. But yes, he would be an astronomical upgrade defensively in comparison to Eriksen as you said. Also, I feel like the Kovacic comparison is a little unfair. Kovacic plays in a far more possession heavy side. When adjusted for possession, around (12.1%) of Kovacic‘s passes are progressive passes, in comparison to (11.4%) of Le Fees, which is quite comparable. When you take into account that Le Fee is a better progressive ball carrier, and creates more chances, they seem a lot closer in terms of quality. (Admittedly Le Fee takes corners and free kicks, whereas Kovacic doesn’t). It’s also worth pointing out that Le Fee is much better defensively, particularly in terms of his pressing. The one aspect that you didn’t touch on, which is arguably the most vital, is the player’s availability. The most important trait in football that doesn’t get highlighted enough. Eriksen has missed (67) days through injury over the last 2 seasons (excluding his heart condition). Kovacic has missed (87) days through injury over the last 2 seasons (excluding corona virus and other illnesses). Astonishingly, Le Fee has never missed a single game through injury in his entire professional career. Obviously being 6 years Kovacic’s junior and 8 years Eriksens junior is also a major positive. I’m only pointing out how much I rate Le Fee because I believe he should be Liverpool’s number 1 midfield target this summer as Thiagos understudy, given Thiagos awful injury record. This should be alongside Mac Allister and Caicedo, completely revamping the Liverpool midfield. I’m also quite curious, who are the other players that you would prefer United to sign ahead of Le Fee?

I do not understand your conclusion AT ALL 😂 He clearly has the potential to be good enough for United, would be an instant MASSIVE upgrade on the likes of Fred, McTominay, or even Sabitzer, and will be available for a fraction of the price of the other options. 🤷‍♂️ Why let him go to another club and end up paying x5 the price in 2 years, when we could sign him and develop him ourselves? 🤣 ETH would be the perfect manager to develop Le Fee, and right now Eriksen plays too much, so Le Fee would get a lot of game time. It's literally a no-brainer to sign him now and develop him.
@AtlantisFootball
@AtlantisFootball Жыл бұрын
Because United need to be competing for the title next season. If you sign him and he is the starter, he might take 2 seasons to get to the level needed also there's no guarantee he reaches that level. that's why Brighton take chances on players but the bigger clubs don't. @MrLePov
@MrLePov Жыл бұрын
@Atlantis Football Who said he would be the starter? I didn't. 😅 We haven't lost a single game this season in any competition when all 3 of Bruno, Eriksen, and Casemiro have started, so IMO we don't need Le Fee to be a starter, we need him to be a quality substitute and regular rotation option, something we don't have now. Not being a starter, but getting regular game time, will mean there isn't huge pressure on Le Fee, but he will still be able to develop. Time frame debates are pointless, sure it could take time, or like with Moices Caicedo or Enzo Fernandez, Le Fee could literally be ready for a step up in months. Exactly, and just look at Brighton! 😂 They are run better than any other club in the league! I would rather us take chances on potential gems rather than continue with players who clearly aren't good enough (our sub midfielders). I disagree that Kovacic will cost a similar amount to Le Fee, because Chelsea would much rather sell him abroad than to a rival, and obviously they don't really need the money 😂 I think Bayern will sign him (currently rumoured) to replace Sabitzer/Gravenberch for a low fee, but for us or City I think Chelsea would try to charge us like £40m instead. Le Fee is young, already good enough to improve our squad, and extremely available compared to other targets. Considering we need like 6 signings this summer (2 strikers, 2 midfielders, a keeper, and either a centre back or right back), I think Le Fee is absolutely a no brainer, and should be obvious choice to compete with Eriksen.

@Atlantis Football what kind of moronic statement is that? 🤣 Do you think there was no point in signing Malacia, then, seeing as he's not a starter? 😅 Like I already said: we haven't lost a single game in ANY competition when Bruno, Eriksen, and Casemiro have all started, why change that? 🤷‍♂️ We don't need Le Fee to improve the starting XI instantly, but he would instantly improve the squad, as he has qualities that Fred/McTominay simply don't have. Did you even read what I said? 1) Chelsea don't need money, they don't NEED to sell. 2) Even if Chelsea do sell, they would much rather sell abroad than to a rival, so IF they were to sell him to us/City, they would not do it on the cheap, because it would hurt them. Honestly, mate, I love your player and tactical analysis, but when it comes to transfers, it seriously seems like you have no idea what you're talking about. 😕

@AtlantisFootball Жыл бұрын
@@MrLePov What are you talking about? It's not a moronic statement at all. Malacia wasn't signed as a first team starter was he? We are talking about signing Le Fee as an upgrade on Eriksen. I don't really understand what you are on about, yes United do need Le Fee to improve the starting 11 immediately if he is brought in. Also Eriksen defo needs to be upgraded, not just because he is coming into his early 30's but because he massively lacks on the defensive side of the game and could be improved from a press resistant point of view. Also Chelsea 100% need to sell. It's ironic you say I don't know what I'm talking about and then say that. It's well known that Chelsea need to sell players before the start of the end of June, maybe 6 or 7 and Kovacic will be one of those if he isn't signing a new contract.

Le fee is a better bet than kovacic or even mcallister etc especially when you consider the price. I dont even know why you are pushing this kovacic idea, we already have old midfielders in eriksen, bruno and casemiro...it doesnt make any sense to pay 30 or 40m for another old midfielder when we can pay 20m for a player like enzo le fee. Furthermore, your comparison is flawed, you got kovacics and eriksens best features ie progressive passing and you compared enzo le fee on that. How about enzo le fees best feature ie ball carrying vs those 2. We dont need another superb progressive passer in the team, but we desperately need an elite ball carrier. If we are unable to get frankie de jong, the next best option in all of Europe is enzo le fee especially given his price.

?? That’s the whole point. We want to improve the squad. You’ve got to have requirements to improve on the players we have 😂

@@AtlantisFootball yes we should (i didnt say no requirements), I said stop having impossible requirements for players linked to us. You literally want us to spend dime on someone like kovacic who is older and more expensive just becoz he is a more progressive passer by a few percents...furthermore, we already have a great progressive passer in eriksen but we dont have a ball carrier profile like enzo or frankie. Your logic doesnt make sense at all

You obviously don't like him. He had a great game vs PSG and that is a big game. And being of the opinion he joins Brighton or Aston Villa is lame cos a few years from now we will be regretting. Enzo Fernandes, Julian Alvarez, Haaland and Caicedo should have taught you that

Mason Mount is over £55m whereas this guy is available for £15m. He would be a great squad player. Imagine this guy on the bench able to come on and fill in at 8 or 10 or wing. Caqueret to start at 8 and Enzo Lee Fee as the utility player off the bench that can cover multiple positions would be a smart transfer business.

I think this is quite lazy analysis, with far too much focus on data, rather than watching the player. I have watched a lot of Le Fee this season and it’s very easy to explain why he makes less progressive passes than Kovacic… because he carries more than Kovacic. The total progressive actions are very similar if you combine progressive carries & passes. And saying he doesn’t see the play ahead of him because of this, is poor, as he creates more chances than Kovacic. I think his biggest weakness is defensively. Although a big upgrade on Eriksen, his eagerness to win the ball means he often dives in or goes to ground too soon, and doesn’t win the ball. This also translates in his 1v1 defending. But I do think this is something that can be coached, and at 23, there’s still room growth. 12 months left on his contract, would make him a cheap squad player. An upgrade on Sabitzer, Fred and van de Beek

It’s also fair to say that his progressive passing numbers could be lower as he plays in a team that have inferior possession in most games or because at times he plays in a more advanced role, which would explain why he receives far more progressive passes than Kovacic? I think there are multiple reasons to explain the data, and watching enough games the context is there to see

He is defo not as good as Kovacic when it comes to progressive passing, he is one of the best in the world. How can it be lazy if I am focusing on the data and the eye test whereas you are going off just the eye test. I could easily just say your analysis is lazy lol. It’s just a different opinion

@@AtlantisFootball I also value the data, but it absolutely needs context. But you make a fair point, analysis is open to interpretation, apologies for calling it lazy. But progressive passing, is just passing forwards over a certain distance. Does not necessarily result in chances or goals. Le Fee creates more opportunities for his team mates. Not saying he is a better player overall. But he would be value for money, young and can progress parts of his game further. Definitely a better squad player than United have currently

You’re an enemy of this club imo, you keep suggesting a player like Kovacic for us. First we signed 30y.o Casemiro now he’s 31, we should sign an injury prone Kovacic again at 29y.o when even Chelsea are signing young players like Enzo at €100m for his position. Embarrassing really

@@JohnDoe-qm8ns jajajajjajajajaaja. Why ain’t City, Liverpool, Arsenal all over him then?Why ain’t Madrid, Barcelona fighting for his signature? It’s only Man United making stupid decisions in the last 10yrs signings a rival finished players calling them world class. We’ve done it before and still didn’t learn. It’s why we’ve been a laughing stock to football world in last decade and also Talking about BOEHLY? There’s no way a sane person tells me Enzo doesn’t get in our XI. So with Enzo he’s already signed a replacement for Injury prone 29y.o Kovacic, So he wanted to cut off aged players off his team. But of course let Man United pay £30m for him as long as they sign 29y.o Sabitzer too according to you then talked about winning the EPL and UCL. Don’t let this foolish average analyst put you into delusion. Even if a 20y.o good player ain’t ready yet we should be signing them. Look at Kamavinga,Tchioumeni for example?They will be ready in at least 2/3yrs. It took Kloop 3yrs to win his first trophy at Liverpool. There’s no way I ain’t taking that if we kept improving every season under Ten Hag. Signings stop gap players like Kovacic,Eriksen,Casemiro,Sabitzer every summer ain’t winning us EPL and UCL am deadly sure about it.
