our squad is so versatile, maresca could easily mirror the squad, invert either fullback. duran make no sense for 40 mil, no return will be made on him.

I really like your analysis, but you should be realistic with your signings demands. We know Chelsea are not looking at Dovbyk at the moment, neither is there serious push for Diomande. You should focus more on the actual serious targets by the club instead of the players you think the club should sign. We all want some players at the club, but reality is that we are just fans and our wishes are mere fantasy, we need to mentally prepare our minds with the club's serious targets than playing fantasy football. Nice work tho.

With the wingers described like this it makes Madueke sound more suited to the role than Olise . Madueke has some of the highest “cut back “ stats in the world and Olise some of the worst .

The problem with chelsea is the squad! By the time the manager decides on whom to pick on regular basis and whom to sell.. Hes been sacked! Even in ur starting line-up u left out lavia, Hutchinson, Angelo, Carney, Datro, etc etc Owners have to stop buying players.... Including Olise I believe Hutchinson shud be given the opportunity.

Have no clue why everybody is loosing their mind over cucarella, there are many defenders who can invert. and in defence he is only good at interceptions, If a winger has the ball and runs towards him he runs backwards and he does not put a tankle inn or he missed completely

Cucurella will be the one inverting since he did that at Brighton. James will have crosses from deep and be the 3rd CB when needed. He can also move forward up to a certain point but not too far up

Gk: Chelsea should go for D.Costa or stick with Sanchez Cb: The rcb area would be occupied by Adarabioyo/ Fofana/ Disasi whereas Chelsea should go all out for Calafiori I Don’t think Chilwell or T.Chalobah will be here next season Mid: As for the midfield R.Lavia (just like Adarabioyo who both know the system as they played previously with Marseca).Thus, Lavia would be the heartbeat of the team. Attackers: Olise at rw is a must as it gets the best of Palmer playing centrally and olise being a proven prem threat. Lw is where it gets tricky but I feel we should stick with Sterling/ Mudryk or Nkunku as Sterling can provide the experience in this set up but he might be sold. St: I think we should go for Guirassy as he experienced and provides a different output to Jackson while also helping Jackson develop. (big Jackson fan) This is how the team would be formed with 4 Signings of D.Costa, Calafiori, Olise, Guirassy This is just my opinion and also how we should approach this summer

Trust me, you see the way Jose Mourinho instilled an identity into his Chelsea squad back then and we saw Chelsea became that for years after he left, thats how Maresca will create the new Chelsea we'd later see. The owners have made a conscious decision to have demanded possession-based system as the new identity moving forward. Maresca would go to work on that. Then the next coach choice after Maresca would cement this identity. Hope Maresca stays for 20 years 😊

People are having a world war over whether keeping Gallagher is right or not. Ideally you keep him for this season and see how all the other midfielders grow into the new style of play. Stylistically you can argue that there won’t be that large spaces to defend regularly and hence bin him. Personally don’t agree with that line of reasoning insult Gallagher’s technical ability but he’s a shiny example of grit and hardwork all the other midfielders need to learn

It’s not about net spend, especially if we we bring in players on amortized deals over let’s say 5 yrs where we are only accounting for 1 yr this upcoming season and we sell a homegrown player for a fee where all of it is accounted for next yr as pure profit🤷🏾‍♂️

Nice breakdown of Maresca's history. However you need to be more realistic about player transfer suggestions. You sounded very naive on that part....

Quality break down. I'm an Olise fan however we have enough players for the right side of attack and injury prone players too. The left side of our attack was very poor last season. Rafael Leao for LW is a personal dream signing. In the Enzo Maresca system I'm confident he would be amazing. However Xavi Simons for the left sided midfielder behind the striker may be more realistic. Cole Palmer, Carney Chukwuemeka and Xavi Simons as the most attacking midfield options would be really exciting

The only right sided attacker is noni. Palmer could play as an attacking 8 and they will rotate.

@@kennyo0079 Noni is the best RW option we have from what we know of Maresca and with Cole as the 8 on the right I'm confident they will play well together. Madueke is not the only RW option we have Omari Hutchinson, Angelo Gabriel and Diego Moreira. Kendry Paez can join in January although I believe him more of an 8/10. The club also appear close to wrapping up the Estevao William deal who plays on the RW

Good chance of that yes. My original point was the left side of our attack was non existent for much of last season. We have many players who attack down the right. The left side is far from stacked

@@chrismcelligott-od5wc on the left we got Sterling Mudryk and Nkunku and Jackson can rotate there. If we get Olise and a striker I think we will be perfect. We have PL, FA cup, Carabao cup and Conference League games to play so I think everyone will get proper game time

Lol if he signs a new deal I don’t mind him staying, but he is not a technical player, especially compared to the other midfielders we have in the team. He would serve a purpose in tough games though, coming off the bench. But as a starter he won’t be picked ahead of Enzo, Lavia or Caicedo in Maresca’s system if we are to believe what Maresca is looking for in midfielders. 🤷🏾‍♂️

gallagher always chases his first touch, he's best off the ball that's his best attribute he's a cardio master.. on the ball though he suffers his technical ability is lacking, i like him but i know he's not good enough.. it's not just an idea like you're suggesting but we all have eyeballs and can see how limited gallagher is as a player.

No their roles weren't reversed Enzo is too feeble for the prem so when you play him to come deep for the ball his defensive prowess shows how unreliable it can truly be and caicedo needs a midfield partner that can either keep up with his engine or do far better or exceedingly better than him at it as he likes to roam and create like Enzo we have two players that do the same things differently only chelsea can truly screw that up🤦🏾‍♂️

I would prefer Maresca to switch to a 3-5-2 system similar to Inter Milan, for the sake of Enzo. Chelsea also would need to get rid of some players like Mudryk, Noni, Gallagher, Cucurella and keep only technical players, in my opinion. Below would be my preferred starting 11 and back up 11 (3-5-2): Starting 11 (3-5-2): Jackson. Palmer. Moreira. Angelo. Caicedo. Gusto. Enzo. Colwill. Tosin. James. Petrovic. Back up 11 (3-5-2): Nkunku. Deivid. Chilwell. Carney. Casadei. Sterling. Santos. Badiashile. Disasi. Fofana. Sanchez.
