@seamusmooney1308 He can get better, but prob not by a large margin. His assist and TO #s have gotten worse each of the last 3 seasons. He's a smallish guard who can't guard his position and he has yet to play 70 games in a season. Cavs need to move on.

These guys arent really in a position to critique the cavs. Mobley is light years ahead of Paolo defensely. Wemby is a generational prospect like lebron it isn't fair as a comp. Evan can get incrementally better in a few areas and all of a sudden you look up and he's a 20 12 5 or better guy while playing dpoy level defense. That's a top 10 guy in the nba imo

I don't know why Paolo and Mobley are even comparable. They have completely different playing styles and responsibilities. I do think Evan is just a scapegoat for not being Giannis already. Which is unfair imo. If the Cavs had a good two way SF and the coach uses Evan offensively like he says. I think that would unlock his offensive potential while still being an awesome defender.

@@rahimi4762 Don't listen to folk who have basketball knowledge. He's the second player on the team. And would be the first if he was developed correctly. We have Porter Mobley's brother and Bates. None of them played important minutes. We aren't developing our young talent. That's one of the many reasons JB had to go.

Im curious to see if theres less hesitation and more aggressiveness under atkinson. Even with Dean wade and his his hesitating to just shoot wide open shots etc. Seems like that was a common theme with some playrs when they are wide open and good shooters.

Evan Mobley needs to develop a shot. Evan is tall with touch. He needs to pay and train with kareem . He needs to develop the sky hook shot. It would take his game to all star level. He needs the unblockable shot. You heard it here first.

This segment is one of the reason why i think this show shouldn't talk basketball if Jayson or mike isnt there tbh. No offense to the guys on today but its clear basketball knowledge isnt there strong suit and they need someone who actually knows ball guide them or correct them

Mobley averaged 16 pts on 11 shots as a third sometimes 4th option scoring primarily on 2nd chance opportunities. He’s one of the best defensive players in the entire league. And can pass better than most big men and run a fast break. If Mobley’s failing the eye test then your views on the NBA aren’t credible.

Mobley is way better than you guys talk. He’d average 24 and 12 as the 1st option. He dropped 33 pts when donovon was out va the Celtics. He will excel in a faster offense with more pace and space under Atkinson who is also good at developing players. JB handicapped us offensively

Wake up Homer. This core 4 would never win a title. Just like G said, in no way can Darius Garland be your 2nd option on a championship team. Mobley is soft and too passive. Doesn’t have that dawg in him to dominate. Allen is soft too, got bullied against the Knick’s and then was scared to play against the Celtics when was listed as day to day

Niang and okorro were unplayable in the playoffs. struss and levert were awful. Wade always hurt. Still no backup big or backup pg. this roster is extremely flawed .
