How does it all work?
- Two players are presented a quest before each match that they must complete within 60 minutes.
- Nations are random and the quest is a secret, players cannot practice the quest or the nation pick beforehand.
- The winner takes home 2 points while the loser gets no points. The player with the most score at the end of this season of Masters win the title!

This is so unfair and unbalanced. You can give the random countries but at least make it the same for both

I think the random nations works so long as they are similar power levels, and Ajam and Scotland are close enough

I like the quasi-random nations. They were clearly chosen for a reason. The list is never going to contain like the Ottos and Ulm

How can this be a 60 minute challenge but the video is only 17 minutes? I don’t understand.

so I think scotland is the stronger nation but Ajam has more access to greast projects. will be interesting.

My Scottish strategy would have been similar to Laiths. Go straight for Gotland, then Dalaskogen mines, then upgrade the mines (possibly while selling everything in Scotland except Lothian), then upgrade the two other monuments or if Copenhagen/the Stave Church looked like an easy grab go for them.

ggs to florry again, I had a bunch of chances to win, but just ran out of time at the end, could have even bankrupted to finish the papal monument

It might seem a bit unfair to give 2 random nations. But given this situation and how close these 2 competitors were, I dont think it really matters. both had many opportunity's to get monument levels. Also im pretty sure the hosts have thought deeply about which 9 nations they could pick to make it a bit more even. Great idea. Awesome videos.

Many people seem to dislike it but I am actually in favour of the random nations for both players. A bit like poker, make the best of the hand you are dealt. Yeah, sure, some runs are very unbalanced and you wont win every round. In the end, it will be the skill of working with a situation that you haven't encountered before that will make you the victor of the whole tournament.
