Ooo that’s a GREAT program! 5 km is such a great distance, it’s one of my favourites to run. We are so glad that we could help! We were on the fence about whether this video was going to be useful for anyone (because there are so many well performing older videos out there) but are really happy that we did make it and that you found it now, thank you for letting us know! We started with the App on a two month free trial last year, and then paid for the app membership for a couple months - using it mostly for their treadmill workouts (with a non peloton treadmill). By the spring we were ready to buy the bike because I liked the app so much! We waited until we could find one second hand, and we were really lucky to find one for less than 50% what it would cost new, and hardly used. Definitely recommend trying the app out first (on a free trial) and seeing if you enjoy it, as it’s a pretty low risk way to trial their other programs before making the bigger investment of the bike. Really excited that you’ll be participating in the challenge too!!!

Ooo we love Nanaimo! Such a nice part of the world, and so nice to be so central with easy access to victoria, vancouver and the valley 😍 You should definitely get going with KZfaq!!! I wish, so badly, that we started years ago when we originally wanted to. I would have learned so much, so much faster, through trial and error. We'd be so much farther ahead! There's a great editing program I use for social media called Capcut (you've probably already heard of it!) that is a great free resource for editing. I use Final Cut Pro for youtube videos, but if I didn't already have access to that program I would most definitely be using capcut. You should definitely check it out if you haven't heard of it/tried it before!

They’re pretty pricey brand new, but so many people get Pelotons and then don’t end up actually using them… so sometimes you can find nearly new shoes for half the price if you’re willing to dig around!
