I liked the second form of team sheet with extra info like EV spreads! It seemed like it was for maybe the earlier form of the team though? Torn had Scary Face instead of Leer

I agree, gen 8 and gen 9 legends are far superior but of course you can make any restricted work if they have good pokemon that supports and contribute around them. So the balance its not all that bad

I really can't see this pokemon and this team working in an open team sheets format. Japan Nationals is notorious for being CTS and just hoping you cheese your opponent out.

how could giratina become viable? like redistributing stats or change types or abilities

It just doesn't hit hard enough. GF gave it equal points in A and Sp.A when it doesn't need both. Take some points out of Sp.A and stick them in Attack and Speed and it would be viable imo. I like its typing, it makes sense thematically, but yeah Ghost/Dragon is never going to be ideal when that makes you weak to both Calyrexes.

it could be the trick room counterpart of calidow at least in its original form by moving like half the attack and speed to special attack and for the bound form remove from the special attack and put in speed and attack

He is viable, just isn't meta, and he doesn't need to be. He is fine right now. One of the only Pokémon that could counter Primal Groudon that good.

Yes it is, not sure about that set tho. But specially if you have a brain and skills. You don't need to use Meta Pokémon all the time, that just shows how bad you are depending on certain "viable Pokémon" to have some wins.
