@@zachbishop5421She’s even worse than Danica. Which is shocking to say. Danica had an average finish of 21.1 and 7 top 10s during her 61 race Xfinity career. Hailie on the other hand has an average finish of 26.06 and has finished in the top 20 only 5 times. Hailie’s time in trucks is more similar to Danica’s time in the Xfinity series. Hailie had an average finish of 21.41 and 5 top 10s.

I knew the hype train had way too much steam to begin with. It starts when she makes her series debut, then everyone loses their mind when she finishes 16th and signs her to a full time ride immediately. Soon she starts doing poorly but then finishes 16th in another series debut and the cycle starts over again.

She won the only two dirt races they've had in 50 years and haven't had one since, and her third win was at the shortest, flattest, slowest track you would ever want to run ARCA cars on. Kudos to her for surviving the crashfest destruction derby, but it was anything but "racing!"

@johnlafever3162 this is what people don't understand. Just because she was good in ARCA doesn't make her skilled. ARCA is filled with daddy's boys that have horrible racecraft. And others that can barely pay for tires much less a car that's fast week in and week out. Doing well in ARCA means very little and is not indicative of skill or even potential.

It was over before it started. She isnt a premier talent and never should have made it out of trucks. People will sit there andake excuses about how she "needs the right team and crew chief". Google how many crew chiefs she's had. She's the problem because she doesnt belong in Xfinity or trucks. I say this respectfully but she has had the privileges she has had because of who her dad is and what she looks like.

Let’s just say this- if I was sponsoring her cars, I would get more recognition in the scrap metal field than on the track. She has wasted a OT of sponsorship money and the hype I feel as though was never there. She just to go back to weekly racing at her local track and stay there. Instead of destroying her career more and other people’s money- she needs to respect herself and go back what she does best on local tracks and STAY THERE!

Man I pulled and pulled and pulled for deegan. But honestly it does feel like it’s almost over!!!!! My family/friends would dog me for pulling for deegan and I would say just wait just wait well now I’m just waiting !!!!!!!! Plz start getting some at least top 15s 12s. But starting to think she just doesn’t have the aggressiveness/ race craft she needs!

I’m afraid she might be all done in nascar unless pops wants to throw down that sponsor money. She’s also with a backmarker team and everyone knows that so she shouldn’t be expected to run top five or even top ten really. But she has had lots of chances to finish better than she has, has been involved in a mot of wrecks and spent cars.

I think she was overhyped from the start and she flashed potential in ARCA, but her time in trucks was rough and her only positive thing during that time was a great run in Xfinity for 1 race. So people obviously had hoped that maybe that car would suite her better but so far there hasn’t been anything to show for it. While she has had some bad luck she looks woefully off pace. The car obviously isn’t a great car but should at least be able to run 20-25 and she consistently is running in the 30s. If she doesn’t show improvement by season’s end it is over. If she was a dude no one would even notice her.

Plenty of women have found a career and a calling in the motorsports world and personally I think there should be even more woman presence in racing but, Hailie's case seems a bit more.... Danica Patrick like, personally... Only this time Hailie wasn't one of the first to do it in NASCAR's modern era.

She’s literally not. Danica actually managed to get several top 10s in the Xfinity (nationwide) series. Danica’s average finish was 21.1 and Hailie’s is 26.06. And unlike Hailie, Danica could actually drive a car fast, she could never hold it together to finish in a decent position.

I think it really is quite the opposite. If she was a man, she probably wouldn't have made it out of trucks, or even into a Thorsport ride. Not being a hater, but anyone else with stats like hers wouldn't make it very far at all.

I was all for her going to Xfinity, but she hasnt really shown any speed, even the times she has gotten up to the front she quickly falls back. The latest is her crew chief got fired 2 races ago and they have been her 2 worse races. I have little hope that she will bounce back

It doesn't matter what another driver did for the team and let me tell you why. Whether you want to believe it or not it is different unfortunately because she is a female it makes the man much more aggressive and I don't care what anybody says that is the actual fact. This is her first year I just wish people would quit begging on her all the time she is a talented driver and definitely knows what she's doing.

She would do so much better in IMSA I watched her race the Michelin Challenge at Daytona last year and she was 3rd in her class and was even leading for a while, she's a talented driver Nascar just might not be the right fit. As for her best finish being 12th I firmly believe that could have been better if Riley Herbst would have worked with her instead of leaving her out to dry she could have had a top at Talladega, we also so her wheel a destroyed car to a top 20 at Martinsville and when she raced Vegas for SS Greenlight prepared by SHR she held her own and was on the lead lap, as far as recency stuff it could be a Ford problem, I wanna see her succeed maybe it's time for a change especially because all her success was with Toyota.

These days, more is expected even from rookies. Most Xfinity rookies have plenty of success in Trucks or a lower series, and end up doing decent. Deegan doesn't have the success to back her up and isn't showing the results either. Going back to ARCA for a few years would probably help a lot.

I think she went with the wrong team . She needs a team thats been around a while and can give her better equipment and a crew chief like tony eury that can get her to be more aggressive. The talent is their its limitless. She needs to focus on racing xfinity and stop going to the midget track . She needs to be testing at tracks shes weaker on . Eat sleep and breath xfinity series.
