That looked a fast course. Straight out and back on goos quality surface. And on checking Tim Grose's fastest parkrun list i see it's 11th on the 2023 rankings. Plenty of history to ponder on the way too. Thanks for sharing.

Seem to have been a flyby in a few of your videos now! Hope you enjoyed our drizzly park run. Your friend Lee looks familiar at the end, I think I may have run a chunk of the sdw50 with him, I gave him a Guinness at the finish line. Great vid as always 😊

Shame it was raining great video lived hastings all my life wouldn't want to go anywhere else every one with wet weather gear on.

Excellent. Well presented. Shame about the weather. No doubt you will be back in the summer and enjoy that flat course. Of course there are many who a good breakfast before running later on Saturday morning; including me! I've run for over 60 years (1000 plus races) but have only done one parkrun 'cos it started at 11 a.m. on New Years Day! It was Morecambe; along the promenade as Hastings. The Morecambe surface is resin so it is very "fast" if the runner wants it to be . BTW I was never really a 5K runner but managed 15.13 on the track back in the day so would have loved to have tackled this Hastings course. Today at 75 I might......say might.....have managed 31/32.

@FilmMyRun you said you was under the weather again, do you think that them 100 milers last year has lowered your immune system? Stupid question from me but it seems after them races your body has struggled to get back to the fitness that you had. Would be interested in your thoughts. Cheers Marc.

@@Merritt7278 totally. I think last year took a big toll. More than I thought. I’ve been so unwell since the new year and have struggled to get any training in. Just desperate to get back to it but it may still take some time
