Honestly the points you made were surprisingly on point, Luocha's heals are just beyond overkill and is very much an overall dps loss, so unless you're playing like Swarm 5 where enemies hit like a truck breaking the sound barrier the healing isn't really that necessary. But I feel like it can still be argued the emergency free heal does still can give an edge over Huohuo in the occasion you get Star Railed and one of your supports or dps gets targeted 6 times in a row and now you've lost at least half of your team's damage output. So unless you're astronomically unlucky I do agree that Huohuo is overall the better of the two just because she negates most of the damage loss of having at least one sustain unit on the team, but if you're really struggling to survive somehow, build your characters better, or get Luocha

I still prefer Luocha just because of the emergency "OH SHIT" healing and being SP positive, and being SP positive is already a huge win for IL mains out there

As a Luocha main, YOU ARE ABSOLUTE CORRECT. I don't have HuoHuo mainly cause I'm saving for Dr.Ratio, but I use my friend's HuoHuo in the domain and she brings so many buffs to ILDH than Luocha. For me, I think having Luocha is basically for people with skill issue by a fellow skill issue player ; ; Anyway nice vid man

really well made vid! Only thing I want to add is that dmg multiplies attack much like crit multiplies this number. So in a way dmg % debuffing divides the attack rather than subtracting. I'm a luocha simp and a lover of the god fantasy so I will tip my hat to you sir let us both enjoy our play styles.

Best Huohuo review I've seen on KZfaq. Other reviews just look at her healing, in which case she's a bit worse -> "worse luocha", while ignoring all the other massive utility she provides

I have them both. Happy 😊 (Saved for the banner so not a whale thing) HuoHuo is still new to me so comparing them might have a bit of the “first impression vs long time use” bias. But I think your thoughts are valid. Not sure I’m personally going for eidolons, but their play styles are different. HuoHuo buffs are good and her ultimate usually fills the team up. I’m also loving the multiple ally cleanse. With healing you need to be more careful than with Luocha. But the other things are worth it. Jing Yuan team feels much better than with Bailu. Luocha is very good, everything just flows easily. Zhongli levels of comfort. Ultimate does decent damage and ends smaller enemies. If I’m forcing imaginary weakness with Silverwolf he’s great with Imbibitor Lunae

Both characters are good, but as for which one is better, I still believe Luocha is better for auto-battle, but HuoHuo is better for min-maxing. HuoHuo is more offensive, the extra energy is nothing to scoff at. But personally, my playstyle is more auto-battle focused. I just love watching my pretty characters move on their own. If I wanted to do manual, I'll play Genshin

As a Luocha Skipper and Huo Huo Puller I'm very happy with this video. I'm not toxic enough to say that I'm smarter by making a better choice because if i had luocha i wouldn't have pulled for Huo Huo in the First place because i don't need both of them only 1

Another thing about Huo Huo’s 6th eidolon, it is a damage percent where as Luocha first eidolon is a attack percent. The difference between the two is pretty massive depending on what your main dps has more of, if they have lots of attack buffs then you will need more damage buffs, and if they have lots of damage buffs then attack buffs will be better. Put simply attack is the stat and damage is the end result of all your buffs that will come out when you hit an opponent, hope this was useful

i have both Huohuo is harmony buffer, but luocha heals more, i use blade / IL / jingliu with luocha, huohuo with jingyuan topaz or kafka

I am a luocha main but i wont complain the only thing im going to say is that to me huo huo feels janky her heals just doesnt feel great enough,and another point is,is that in the end your team would have a greater chance surviving with luocha than huo huo and with the new content in the game luocha feels better to me but thats just my opinion,even if he does take away some dps, you want all of your characters alive than loosing them so thats why i think they are equal.

I can see the value and potential of Huohuo as a support/sustainer but she's not really what I need to my account rn, I already have Luocha and Fu Xuan doing their job well for me, what I need to my box are specialized buffers and debuffers

Well luocha heal more and is more skill point efficient and can remove buff but huohuo heal more than enof to were she can solo sustainand give ER and attack to were if you know what your doing she better than luocha but luocha is so brain dead easy to use lmao while huohuo you have to use your brain in a anime mobile game the horror i know we have have to think lmao. But i'll say huohuo better if you know what your doing

My 2 best teams, Jingliu(with Bronya) and IL Hypercarry teams are very, very SP intensive. I also value damage buffs over defensive utility, but what makes Loucha so good is that he provides his defensive utility without consuming SP. Despite the buffs of HuoHuo she would be a damage loss over Loucha in my best teams, which are composed of the 2 best dps units in the game.

i still say luocha is better because of how efficient he is, huo-huo has some buffing on her kit but as someone who pulled her just because she´s cute and adorable i say that her buffing is not that great also her regen capabilities are not that great as well, i mean it´s nice we´re getting characters who does more than healing but for me she´s just a good unit but luocha is almost a Must Pick since he can fit in any team you slot him in, buuut huo-huo is good and cute and that´s everything i asked of her since star rail is an easy game and you don´t need the best character to clear the content.

Ive got huo huo > luocha cause i have fuxuan, who protects me from 1 shots so huohuos utility just boosts my jingliu dps too much

Even if she was "bad", she's so hecking cute I don't care. I'd say her only weakness is that you really need to think about your character positioning to make sure your main dmg sources are still getting hit by her skill no matter who needs to be healed on any given turn, but now that I think about it I just... probably shouldn't put my main DPS unit at the far end of my lineup XD

I see it like this. luocha is better if you wanna sit back and dont really wanna play manually. and huo huo is better if you like to play manually. in auto battle, luocha will mostly use basic attack because he auto heals when a character gets low, where as huo huo will mostly use skill points because the skill is not just healing. she will skill more because the ai wants to buff the team, thereby taking skill points from the dps. so it depends on your team and its skill points usage, and what play style you like. but most importantly! if you like huo huo get huo huo and if you like luocha get luocha.

she is just a healer + cleanser + tingyun. who the heck is saying she is bad? Loucha is better for characters like blade who taunts and damages themselves. The fact he was released near blade isnt a surprise HuoHuo is better for team healer for characters like JL who hurts team. The fact she heals 3 characters and JL hurts 3 characters and benefits from advance forward and released after and is released after JL shouldnt be a surprised.

Luocha is the easiest autoplay character, huohuo needs a gazillion amount of speed to actually do autoplay.. The autoplay on huohuo wont maximise her passive whatsoever so getting her ult is also harder

Oh she is the best healer yet because in this game so far there is not even a single character instead of her that can negate the status effects from all our characters rather than just one at a time, her healing is really nice plus her ultimate fills up our energy bar and gives us an attack boost what more can you ask for, louche on the other is just a normal attacker and a normal healer the only good point about him is that he suddenly heals when a character falls below on the hp otherwise he’s average. Huohuo is the best healer in the game till now and also I love tail and his dialogues❤

There are two states of existence. State one is Unenlightened Existence before you get HuoHuo, the 2nd is being extremely sad because you will not be enlightened by HuoHuo because you don't have freemo gems or disposable income.

as a bailu main who pulled huo huo, and has used support luochas, i personally say huo huo is just better than luocha. ESPECIALLY if you can get huo huo's E2

The surprise for me is at no point did you say she's better because she's a cute fox girl. I love both, i wish her banner was better and didn't arrive prior to the 1.6 stellar jade storm, but i'm almost certain to pick her up on a future better banner.

Loucha's E6 actually provides a larger final damage increase than HuoHuo's, because Resistance is a completely seperate multiplier and applies after other damage calculations and because it's easy to get dimishing returns on dmg %

Honestly they are good but imo luocha is better for me🥲 My character are quite weak, they dont do much attack and have low def, whenever they get hit their hp literally drops to less than 50%(💀) but my point is, whenever i have luocha, i can keep up with the fights even dealing no damage at all. Huohuo on the other hand, is also a good support. If i have her, my team would be able to hit maybe a higher number and would be able to live a little bit longer.

But luocha is better for skill point funneling he can heal without ever using skill point like ever
