Great Video!! As someone with 2100 hours in the game, having taken many breaks and things throughout my playthrough; I can easily say that this is the greatest skyblock video out there. You perfectly described the feeling and enjoyment of going through the game, discovering new areas and enemies, tackling stronger bosses, and overall just having a fun time with the creative and wacky world that skyblock is. Also I really loved how you talked about the Rift. I remember playing it when it came out and feeling so reattached to skyblock, at the time I only had about 1500 hours and was losing interest, but the Rift was the high energy, engaging and unique gameplay that I craved. I don't play Skyblock too much nowadays, mainly just logging on to run a few F7s or M4s with my friends when we feel like it, or sometimes just to chill out and do some zombie slayer, but I've always had a slight soft spot for it. It's sorta funny to say "Skyblock bad grr" but it's actually a really well made game and I'm glad there's a video out there that actually discusses it with modern context. So thanks for making this video, it's amazing!

most people think the game is all about grinding but its really how u play it, u can be endgame without ever touching mining or farming and you are allowed to do what ever you want. I think right now the game is in an amazing place for new players and its honestly worth playing if you have a lot of free time (amazing vid btw really make skyblock seem so much more fun)

I played Skyblock years ago but stopped after I felt like the next pieces of content I cared about were locked behind grinds I jsut didn't really find fun, I also wasn't really interested in minmaxing my progression either so I quit after getting a couple snow minions and realising I didn't wanna play anymore THIS? This grabbed my attention. Especially after getting back into Wynncraft this year with 3 of my friends. If I were to get back into it I'd probably do the rift and some other quests that werent yet there last time i played and then stop again, but I'm just in-general impressed how fun you framed the game to be. Like. I recognize that despite the incredibly charming editing and use of music I wouldn't enjoy the grindier parts all that much, but the fact you made it look exciting and gave so much CHARACTER to everything is GREAT. The fact you and others voiced some of the characters and had these little scenes almost like from a Machinima, that was great... The thing I keep thinking about is your coverage of The Rift, it jsut feels so unique compared to other things in the game! Even the dwarven mines! I'm sure I'll check it out at some point And maybe I'm repeating myself but OH MAN the STORY you weaved here, connecting all the things you set out to do like this, in an understandable to newbies manner, its just SO GOOD and I respect your music choices a ton, I recognised a buncha those songs and may I say you have excellent taste hehe Speaking of, cool that you have that recources doc, especially cool to see you use DaVinci Resolve, cuz I'm currently learning it myself The conclusion was a really balanced view of the game I think, I never wanted to look it as a horrible game in general because when I did play I did find that a lot of parts of it were really charming to me. And I like that you put a line between poor game design and simply game elements some people wouldnt care for. Great freakin job. Also that short showcase of other MMORPGs!! holy shmoley some of those looked fantastic!! After me and my party are done with the story stuff in Wynncraft we might have to check out some of these other games!!! Also woah I thought that tierlist was gonna be just a one-off gag!! welp, been playing it w 4k hours of my life, during covid i got into hypixel due to me being a very avid old technoblade watcher, i used to just play bw and bridge, but i got addicted after technos vids on sb, since 2020 , end of 2019ish I've been playing sb , only recently a few months ago was i able to leave (for a bit) xD, that is what you truly call an addiction my friends, and recently I've tried wynncraft and seen the quality of the content it provides and its truly amazing to me, and its genuinely amazing that you are also trying out new rpg servers so we can discover them and have fun with other friends as well. Appreciate what you do :D

I quit skyblock for almost half a year now, I played a bit of the glacite mines, but it wasn't that fun. I thought of skyblock exactly how you said it: a meaningless grind that just wasts my time and I don't even have fun while doing it. But after watching this video, I am now for the first time playing the rift as a lvl 130, and it is super fun. Insted of trying to maxemize the effeciency of my grind, I finally realized that this, is not the way I have my fun in this game, the way I can have fun is playing the good, quality content, casually, not the boring grinds that made me hate the game, so thank you, for helping me find joy in this game again. Even if this comment was a little long and maybe even a bit cringe, I felt I needed to say it. (vid was fire btw, loved it and defenetly subbing and looking forward to watching more of your vids)
