The fact that Ibou got the most touches in the game (and Alisson 2nd most...) is incredibly telling. Atalanta completely nullified our game by simply letting them have the ball. Matip has been a big miss that I never hear anyone speak on when discussing the season. Only silver lining is Ibou needs this "seasoning". And it's allowed Quansah to develop as well.

Was a big mistake not playing Quansah in either leg. Konate is barely winning his aerial duels either atm.

Ibou needs to work on his passing ability. Especially long balls. Defenders gotta be able to play those balls.

I’ve been saying for weeks Quansah should play over him. We’ve gotta say it how it is. Klopps subs and starting line ups have been wrong most games the last few months.

nothing wrong with Ibou rather with game plan tactics. Can't expect from a defender to cover gaps of right back who's always high and late at coverage. See VVD side is safer most of the time cause Roby properly covering his side

I just don’t get what’s going on, feels like our team have all lost their footballing ability. We have genuine world class players with a chance to win the league still, how are the club not sorting psychologists or literally anything to get us back to normal

The players need new management everyone is off. And last season was the same . The new players gave it a boost but it’s back to the tired tactics and a tired manager .

Ibou's ball control and touch looks like it's taken a dive. The amount of times the ball seems to slide past him or go under his foot. It's like he's never contorled a football in his life...

He has fallen off but since last night i dont see it as a big concern at the moment since the season is over.

Have you guys ever thought that these players we have aren't good enough ? We hype them so much for doing nothing , they are very unreliable , yet we rely on them only to let us down each time

The lad simply doesnt have the brain for CB role, he has all the physical attributes but lets face it Matip was outplaying him when fit and kept him on the sidelines now we have a 20 year old rookie doing the same thing.

You must be crazy to say that. Ibou is playing as centre back and right back at the same time since last season. It is easier for VVD to play at his back just covering, but the one who have to run to cover this stupid tactic with no right back makes the right side of the defense look stupid, meanwhile we are having an "extra midfielder" and looking at the last games we only see long balls from defense to attackers who can't even control the ball (every single one of them) because only Mac Allister is doing ok playing there. If they keep only Ibou, VVD, Robbo, Mac Allister and the boys from academy for next year ok, I'll miss no other player.

Wouldn`t just single Konate out , most of them are not up to it at the business end of the season
