For the salvation of Hindus, BJP needs to develop a hardline attitude. For decades, Sonia Gandhi has enabled Christian missionaries to mass-convert Hindus through treacherous means and has allowed Muslims to do the same; in turn, Hindus are paying jizya in the guise of temple money being diverted to mosques & churches.

I never got the idea of why BJP held elections in Kashmir so soon. It makes sense to just declare it as union territory and control the law enforcement and legislature of Kashmir for as long as possible to cleanse the radical elements from the legacy power structures. Look at Pak and China who apologetically hold their territories outside democratic processes. India mein sabko Gandhi banne ka shauk hai, but the consequences of becoming Gandhian are grave for the nation.

The election was a good idea. People need to be represented in the democratic process. It will build trust and faith in Kashmiris about India's democratic system. If this works, then the insurgency will come under control. Remember, Kashmiris are Indians. We are not occupiers.

@Abhi we are not occupiers. We have to reintegrate them back into India. Giving them a channel for their grievances is a good idea. May be if we do that, they won't fight in the insurgency.

Mr. Kushal makes good points every time. But I disagree with him at 1:04:10 on BJP inactions in post poll Violence in Bengal. The central govt shd have issued directions to Bengal govt under ARTICLE 365. If Bengal govt fails to follow the directions/orders issued under ARTICLE 365, then GOI can dismiss the Bengal govt under ARTICLE 356. GOI can dismiss state govt " ON RECEIPT OF GOVERNOR'S REPORT OR OTHERWISE" is what stated in ARTICLE 356. I request all to read ARTICLE 365 & ARTICLE 356 of constitution. Basically BJP showed their incompetence, cowardice and lack of understanding of ARTICLE 365 & 356, in stopping violence in bengal.

Under the current security environment & the double standards of Kashmiri politicians is it prudent to trust democracy on Kashmir with full statehood ??? Normalcy is returning slow achieved at huge cost, the opinions of defense establishment should be of paramount importance.... no need to play to the sentiments of international community who are totally ill informed on the ground realities

Statehood is not really expensive.if Jammu and Kashmir are separated, you'll gain atleast Jammu. And expenses can be reduced there.

I disagree with Kushal about WB. May be govt can't shoot people but at least the ministers and bjp leaders can highlight the violence everyday. Build a narrative. Create a conducive atmosphere where then the actions taken by the centre can be justified. Govt has been completely silent and that is not done

I've been an Avid supported of Modiji since his CM days in Gujarat.. had the opportunity to stay there for 4 years and that made my trust on him a little more concrete. But I've always been quite critical of BJP as a party and the RSS ways ( well that's my POV, don't want a debate there)... but since Modiji has become the PM of India I've lauded some of his policies and definitely criticized a lot of them... but I do believe the way he has exquisitely dealt with Kashmir is praise worthy.. whatever the people say about Kashmir being a free country n what Kashmiris want. Kashmir can never be a free country till its surrounded by China n Pakistan and their land grabbing ways, best to ditch that thought and proceed with making it a part of India and giving it the recognition every Indian state or UT deserves.
