Please don’t strap a Go Pro on and go to a thrift store. You educate, and are fantastic at it. There is a glut of ‘watch me shop videos’ but damned few good educational channels in this space.

I like this type of video. I can pull info that I need. Combined shipping...you forgot the last step. Refund or partial refund the buyer for the second label not used! I do my combined shipping just like you. I have a niche book store and I get tons of combined shipments. I have E-Bay combined shipping rules pre-set up. That takes care of most of my shipments. I still often run into two situations. 1. A buyer buys and item and pays. He then keeps shopping in my store and then buys another item and pays. 2. I send offers to watchers. A buyer may get 2-4 offers and accept each one. E-Bay treats an offer as a specific sale. They do not engage my automatically combine shipping rules for all the sales. The buyer is forced to pay for each transaction.

For combine shipping ebay has a button before you purchase the labels if you have the same buyer will combine the shipping, so you don't have to copy the tracking its automatically applied.

Would you do a video explaining how to increase Impressions, outside of Ebay? I have a blog and wondered if it would be worth my time to attempt to drive traffic over to my Ebay store or to place Google Ads??? Without a high number of impressions one cannot get the page views and potential sales. You are a great teacher, thanks for sharing.

Hi Justin , I haven’t watched this video yet but definitely will later today. I’m a reseller in Australia and we don’t have eBay international shipping . I often buy bulk lots of barbie items from the USA for my store ( the barbie market here is not as saturated) But I often have to say no to a bulk lot due to the eBay international shipping being so high . I sometimes ask a seller to change the shipping to regular international and it’s much cheaper for me . Some sellers are shocked when I screenshot how much eBay shipping is for the buyer . I just wanted to let other sellers know that they are potentially missing a lot of international sales this way , although I understand the convenience and ease of eBay international shipping for the seller…

Hi. We dont see how much ebay is charging you guys overseas. Can you tell me how much ebay charges you guys for lets say maybe : USPS Priority Mail Large box any weight upto 70 lbs max please ? Here in California it costs about $23 usa dollars. Thank you. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon

Hey Justin! (and anyone else who is reading this) Love your videos! I don't know if / when it's ever too late to comment on a video, but, here goes: If I know a package is going to be shipped internationally and the buyer wants the package ASAP, is it up to the buyer to make a selection as to how they want it shipped? Assuming that’s correct, is it up to me to have those expedited international shipping options already set up in my Business Policies, so that the buyer is even able to make that selection? If I had not already had international shipping options set up, (only domestic) would the package even go out for delivery? Yes, I do understand that international packages go to a domestic hub first to be prepped for the international shipment. - Thx very much for taking the time! - Tom in Colorado

How do you all handle "not as described" return request? I always put detailed pictures and try to be as descriptive on all my listings. I have found some users like to use this as a way to return something simply because they having buyers remorse. What recourse do sellers have to combat this?

Several things: where are you located now? What state? I’m definitely interested in beta testing your app, also how much will it cost? And honestly, do you need to have a YT channel to make this a success as a reseller? It just feels like a pyramid scheme ( not what you’re doing personally because you provide a ton of value but in general) Thank you. Really love your channel

Is Ebay international shipping safe for the items? Specifically, family member has very delicate antique items, from their home that they sell on Ebay. Within the US, they pack these items so well that nothing ever gets broken past 10 years of selling. They want to start International shipping with Ebay but are not sure if Ebay opens their items at the Ebay Hub and the Ebay team might no re-wrap it as good . They also don't want to be responsible for international shipping if the item is broken at Ebay Hub or on way to Ebay Hub and the Buyer wants to activate a return for broken or never received item as who knows the kind of shipping carries in the international countries. Would appreciate a response or advice.

No, it is not safe. I've had several things broken because eBay did not pack well enough when repackaging, which is an unfortunate downside to the International Shipping Program. To be clear, eBay refunds the buyer not out of your pocket when it happens, so you do not lose any money, but it is still sad when the buyer does not get to receive their delicate item intact.

@@justinresells Thank you for responding. Yes, that is a shame that Ebay opens the items for "repackaging" not sure why the need to even do that. True, our family members sell delicate items from her household collection and treats each item like a child going to school, so to have it broken by Ebay team during re-packaging would make them very upset.

Question: I have been very interested in turning on international shipping, but I am not sure how that would work since I offer "free shipping" on all my items. Obviously, I factor the cost of shipping into the price of my item--but if an international buyer sees my post that says "free shipping" is there any chance that once I cover the cost of shipping to the ebay warehouse that eBay will then charge the buyer for the overseas portion of the shipping after it leaves their facility? I am a little confused about that. The reason I have been hesitant is because I don't want to end up having to cover the cost of the international shipping once it leaves the ebay warehouse. Does this make sense?

When you have free shipping on an international order, you are only responsible for the cost of getting it from your house to the eBay warehouse. eBay charges the international buyer additional fees to cover the cost to ship from the eBay warehouse to the final destination at no cost to you. Hi thanks im a subscriber. Question please ... I normally sell in the United States only and offer free shipping. How does it work if I wanted to do international shipping ? I'm pretty sure that shipping is way more expensive to ship overseas so I can't see how I would still be able to offer free shipping for overseas buyers. Is there like some way to offer free shipping only in the USA but, at the same time simultaneously in the same listing, charge overseas buyers for shipping keeping it free only for USA buyers ? Thanks anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.

There's so many international shipping options when I choose to select international shipping...which one is the preferred service to use..and the cheapest..I was told by a KZfaqr that I'm responsible for shipping it to the hub..then eBay handles the rest..which is true..but if u have free shipping u are responsible for the shipping from the hub to the customer as well..trying to figure out if I can offer free shipping on a item I sell in the US and calculated shipping for international so I don't get burned on the sale..make sense?

@@justinresells ok ...just confused because I called eBay few weeks back finally got a rep...they told me I have to pay the complete shipping price..from me to the hub...then whatever the cost to the buyer..and I was thinking they were incorrect..because that would be very expensive and not worth shipping international..so for example I sell something to a buyer in Spain..and I offer free shipping..I only have to pay to get it the hub in Kentucky is where it's at I believe?..

If you accept offers on all your listings, isn’t that just inviting people to undercut you? Who wants to pay the listed price if you show you’re willing to take less?

Definitely. On listings with offers turned on I almost always raise the price above what I’d be willing to accept. People love the idea of getting a deal, especially on ebay, so this can be a successful strategy.

@@justinresells Gotcha, that makes sense then. I personally use Best Offer on items with lower sell through rates but that strategy makes sense too, thanks for the tip!

You list it at a percentage higher than what you would accept on an offer. And you'd be surprised how many people pay full asking simply because they didn't notice the Make an Offer button or don't know how offers work. I don't know if ebay does this anymore, but they used to show on listings that offers were pending, which for some buyers is incentive to get in there and buy it at the BIN price so they can get it before anyone else.
