But how do you discard it if it's an authentic hadith? Doesn't that mean you have a direct contradiction that you have to somehow resolve? You can't just resolve it by ignoring on part. Also, it doesn't really make sense for it to be a contradiction anyway because for the punishment for apostasy to be considered compulsion, it must mean that fear of being put to death will prevent you from losing your belief that Islam is true, and that's just not how that works.

brother, never give up. Read and watch quran videos and try to understand it. There is great wisdom in it. Try to get your happiness out of good things, like laughing, exercise, learn new things, hang out with good people, and help others. Believe me, there is great wisdom in the Quran which can boost your moral. Make sure you read the translation of the text as well. And whenever you are not certain of the meaning, look for it.
