I really don't know how an individual could support the IDF when they do this. This is such a clear point of evidence that they do not give a care to the civilian death toll and their military is incredibly undisciplined. Regardless of your position on Palestinian nationhood, this shit is inexcusable especially since this is definitely not an isolated case.

No one thinks the IDF on their own will get hostages... The IDF is a negotiation tool for a deal with Hamas to free the hostages (which is the only plausible way they can come back alive). Israelis know that, hence they protest for the government to actually do right and **bring them home**.

Militarily, Israel can invade Rafah tomorrow and theoretically "win." The real question is reputation. It's the "I've won, but at what cost?" situation. Reputation issues are bad enough now, they're going to get way worse in a few more months. And it's not like Israel can puff up its chest and say they can continue on their own without international support on anything.

I warned in October in this channel about the possibility of Israel losing their main goal in the hunger of revenge. The futher the October 7th goes and much more Israel is unable to show some concrete good results of this war in comparison to the damage they caused, Israel has little hope to end this war in their terms.

That all depends on the real goals of the operation. If your goal is to push the Palestinians out of Gaza, the IDF is doing fairly well at it. Netanyahu has never been shy about his desire to have settlements throughout the area, and you have Kushner in the US talking about beachside resorts in Gaza. I remain unconvinced that this wasn't the Israeli government's goal all along.

In the 1st 30 seconds I heard a falsehood. Hamas has stated that there are fewer than 40 hostages alive in Gaza. There are not more than 100 hostages missing, there are more than 60 hostages who are dead.

This is a little click baity imo. They are def losing the pr war but they don’t care as they now view Hamas as existential threat more then anything else which hurts pr. Militarily tho they’re def completing objectives as they currently control like 80% of strip, rockets fired by Hamas have stopped, and they’re only operational in Rafah. Two very diff questions imo and vary on importance depending on who you ask

@@jascrandom9855 That would be domestic PR you’re talking about, quite a different thing from international pressure. It took like three years for anyone to do anything about Yugoslavia? And the international community basically just let the Rwandan genocide burn itself out. I don’t think the current situation in Gaza is quite to that level of escalation/brutality mind you, but just pointing out that the international community isn’t actually all that important. If your cause still has strong, domestic support, a more recent example would be Russia and Ukraine.

The original rates were hundreds to thousands per day reaching Tel Aviv constantly. There’s been a lot of graphs and stats showing how much it stopped since early days of fighting

Afghanistan for example was continents away and lasted for 20 years without much change of the population attitude to democracy and was viewed as just a waste of resources and people for a cause that no longer mattered. if Afghanistan was launching countless rockets and attacks for years and bordered USA major cities I guarantee you the result would’ve been very different. As for international pr like ya it matters but is a bit overrated as seen for the most unpopular countries in world rn(Iran and North Korea) who still survive and get their objectives met a lot while Israel which is a lot less isolated and more advanced should be able to level any backlash if they needed to. Its a Palestinian pipe dream that an international force will come and invade Israel to help them esp since Israel is a nuclear power

Israel's style of public relations: 1. We haven't heard reports of deaths, will check into it; 2. The people were killed, but by a faulty Palestinian rocket/bomb; 3. OK we killed them, but they were terrorists; 4. OK they were civilians, but they were being used as human shields; 5. OK there were no fighters in the area, so it was our mistake. But we kill civilians by accident, they do it on purpose; 6. OK we kill far more civilians than they do, but look at how terrible other countries are! 7. Why are you still talking about Israel? Would be good to see a video about what it would look like if west just got sick of all the Iran proxy wars and went full on war with Iran. Cite UK, USA Israel and Iran's readiness for war, and effect on their economies etc. Then also another video alongside explaining what would happen to the region if the west doesn't go to war with Iran, and what this does to Iran's ever increasing influence in the region. The exact numbers don't matter, just see the footage of what has happened to gaza and thats proof enough that thousands of civilians have been killed. Also there are hundreds of testimonies from Palestinian victims of Israeli war crimes, describing the conditions they were kept.
