Is It A Scam!? Testing Online Survey Websites

In today's video, I'm testing if you can ACTUALLY make money from those survey websites. This is part of my series where I test random/weird ways to make money, check out the other videos I've done! (Walking dogs for an app, flipping thrift store clothes). All in all I would say that these surveys websites aren't actually a scam, you just make so little money it's not worth your time unless you really have nothing else to do.

I used these sites when I was like 12 and I only ended up getting like $20 a week. Which is like nothing now that I'm thinking about it but when you're 12 it seems like a lot more😂

Liz Elias The same websites that she used in the video. Opinion Outpost and Swagbucks. But you have to lie about your age when you sign up and lie about everything in the surveys otherwise you won't qualify

I mean, they do earn you money, but it's not much. They get people in and get them to play, but then most of the time they just say some dumb excuse like "Oh, your answers weren't good enough, so we'll only give you 10% of the points we said." They basically make you think you're gonna earn a fortune, but then you only get like... 2 bucks an hour at most.

I once spent thirty minutes doing a survey, but after one of the sections, I hit next, then it told me I didn’t qualify, plus I didn’t get any of the 30 points they promised me. I never did any more surveys again.

If you are 13 I still wouldn't really make money this way. The problem with these websites is that they want to know all your personal information, and you often agree with their terms which means that they are allowed to sell your info to other companies. Besides them making money with your information, you also give them a look into your personal life which they will also sell to other companies. This doesn't have to be bad, but in the end they make so much more money with your info then you will ever get from them. And they will know everything about you, so you have to consider if you mind about that or not :D

Have you heard people talk about - Eiyatalie Simplest Expediency - (should be on google have a look ) ? Opinion outpost absolutely works and it gives you more for your time than most other websites. If you are afraid that they might use the information you give them for bad things, then give the website fake information. Don’t put random and funny answers for everything. If it asks you personal questions just search up different things that can completely answer the question for example it asked her “What’s a hosptial near you”. Search up hospitals in a state close to you, and use that. This doesn’t always work since it doesnt give you the points every single time

The best survey thing I've used is Qmee. Not great money but you can get money for like a dollar menu item or something. And you get straight up money (not points) that you can put into your PayPal at any point.

I started doing surveys in my spare time, like while watching videos or tv for instance, and yes, I probably average a little more than $2 an hour, but I get paid now for "wasted" time that I would have spent just doing nothing anyway, so I think it's worth it. Not to mention, I have been a part of a few very high paying surveys (I got $50 for a 90 minute chat session-WELL worth the time). I made my own video about it recently and just came across this one. I use Branded Surveys and they actually pay you points (cents) for NOT qualifying. Thanks for the video, though!

When I was a teenager i did not even have a laptop to do surveys at all. I was too busy studying anyways. Plus i had pocket money each week and saved it and when you are a teenager your parents give you money to take to school and you do not have to buy food and pay bills your parents do that. I do wished i had a laptop and helped my parents out with some money even if it was to do surveys and not earning much.

Online surveys are legit. The ones I do I get paid daily but there are scams out there too. I get fun surveys tho and I never do surveys over 20 minutes unless they pay well. I also get other offers for trying stuff. Honestly you did the worst survey sites.

What you earned from this is fantastic money compared to what most people are able to earn from youtube. I for example have 300 + videos on my channel and have been a member since 2008 in that time I have earned about $77, which averages just under $6 per year. When you consider the time it takes to make content then that very poor. Oh and in order to actually get that money you have to close down your adsense account because it 'less' than the qualifying amount that they will make payments on. I closed mine a month ago and am still waiting for the cash..... I expect that 90% of money making schemes on the internet are scams, unless your the company running the scam then it's a cash cow getting millions of people to do the work while you sit back and let the cash flow in!

thanks for being so honest , your right they will turn you down , what's so sad is you could be working on a survey for an hour ,and then at the very end they will turn you down which is so wrong doing that to people .... now which ones can you really make money with or is all surveys cheap scams ? by the way you are very pretty and should be a actress .... from the guy Bette Midler Spent a lot of time with .......

I just want to add my input on opinion Outpost. I've had super great luck on it! You can get 100 points in about 2 days. I've cashed out like 3 times in a week.

I have not gotten paid yet from any of them, they all say different amounts from $1000-over$50, and that I have been paid certain amounts but no money yet.
