No guys....for standard maths it is very important to look variety of questions with a level higher than ncert....rd Sharma is best....but ncert is must....

Rd sharma is important till now i can see that the previous year paper of 10 borad exams doesn’t contain any basic questions like in ncert (im also in 10 rn and my school paper are not from ncert its more complex than ncert)

Solve NCERT examplar Step 5: Solve RD sharma / RS aggarwal Step 6 : PYQ, QB of that chapter Step 7: Give a test of the chapter in set time Step 8: Keep solving the Q of the chapter once in a week Step 9: Muskarte hue next chapter start karo 😊

Small Tip : - If you are appearing in your school exams and have ncert syllabus just revise and master the Ncert for your school examination but in board exam try to solve Rd sharma I will say Must because It will test your own skills and etc and it will make you better

No if u do rd sharma then yr confidence is increased and then u see ncert question it will be so easy and 50% paper comes from ncert , 30%from exemplar and remaining 20% from other books like rd,rs . The moto of rd is not that u will see our question in exam but its u will be this much confident after solving our question that if u get some tough question in exam u can easily make it . 🙂

Just a suggestion from board student of 2022-23 batch..our maths board ppr (standard) was fully based on rd sharma..that's why result of maths exam was not so good..I was able to score 95 as I had did ncert Rd sharma and pyqs..so do practice rd sharma (only the ques which seems to be imp, not full rd)

R.d. Sharma is like sum of all the questions ... From NCERT , EXAMPELAR , AND MOST OF THE PYQ'S

I don't claim to be the best advisor but I think rd sharma is not at all required. I used the educart question bank, solved pyqs from every chapter and achieved 99 in maths standard.

For students who will take standard maths in class 10 it is important to take rd Sharma because I had given boards this year and 2 questions one of 3 marks and 2 of 5 marks are from Rd Sharma which was not present in ncert or pyqs kindly go through it It also contains lots of pyqs.....

I scored 97 in maths by solving rd only , RD is like package of everything it contains pyq , ncert questions and even exemplars questions soo I would definitely recommend solving rd

From my perspective it is important to solve Rd Sharma for class 10 because 90% paper is from Rd Sharma iam your senior

Guys it’s an honest reply. RD Sharma is actually very important cuz NCERT has very low level sums which will not help you in your exams. If any question with a different trick is asked in your exam you will fail to score marks. Please like this comment and make it the top comment so that people get to know the importance of rd. As 11th grader . Here is real experience. She is right 2024 math paper my set was c and it has mostly ncert questions. Some mcq were from rd sharma . First complete ncert 3-4 times and then you can go for other material.

From my experience, ncert and exemplar along with pyqs is only important. I got 99 in maths, tho in covid bath, we did get a few questions from exemplar in term2

My brother told me his 10th experience and he said that he solved complete NCERT and ntg else than that... And he managed to score only kind of 39 out of 80 in boards...and this made me sure... That ncert is not enough I gotta use reference books in order to score 90+

If you solve RD sharma then no need of NCERT. Can easily score 100.

As a senior i would recommend to focus firstly on ncert then do pyqs from rd sharma or rs agrawal... I got 95 marks in class 10th the syllabus , exam pattern and difficulty level is also changed so refer these books but don't waste much time on a single ch
