Hey I dunno if this would work with the fortune teller, but the 3ds version lets you use the strobulb from dark moon instead of the flashlight to catch ghosts if you prefer. It's way worse and the controls are worse, but the strobulb by definition, is not the flashlight...

I happened here in a mini-binge of "can you beat _ without _" videos that led me here, and thoroughly enjoyed this short but sweet special. Love your use of PVZ music and even though it makes the challenge, not much of a challenge. It's still really cool to see such a glitch used to bridge the gap into avoiding nearly any more flashes. That being said how dare you close the video with Mari's theme I didn't plan on shedding a tear to start my day but HERE WE ARE

This was fantastic. I love how the vast majority of these challenges are just "okay HOW do we make it through the first area" and then you just breeze on by.

the "footage unrelated" part with luigi spinning around while you talk about the ice medallion made me laugh so hard

I’m the dude who originally found the out of bounds glitch like, idk around ten years ago when I was one of the only ones speed-running this game. However, it was others that saw my video (posted on another channel) of the glitch that discovered how to tilt Luigi and eventually be able to skip to the game! It’s honestly a good but also weird feeling to see people take your discovery to beat the game in less than 10 minutes, and also create content like this.

Thank God I was going through a kirby phase when you released your Superstar Ultra TAS, otherwise I don't think I would have ever found this channel. Keep up the great work

It's the same reason I love watching Bismuth's videos, but you add a lot more personality to it as opposed to explanations which are equally alluring.
