Nicobbq this is a way to get left without pressing left, using a cape powerup you can actually spin while your flying and theres a 50% chance that you will change direction while flying with the cape. allowing you to fly in the opposite direction without pressing left. Its mostly used on Kaizo super mario world rom hacks but i think you can use this to get to the end of the game without pressing left as long as you can get enough speed to fly.

Everybody knows when a viewer sees a youtuber that's doing no left challenge going left on the world map, they be like "OMG. YOU CHEATED. YOU WENT LEFT." And that's when they realize the youtuber didn't do anything, it's just automatic. XD

What do you think about a “least button changes” challenge? You can press and hold any button, but you need to try and minimize the amount of changes. Could be an interesting one!

Fairly good progress made, well done. However, in theory, Donut Secret house may be possible, but it requires being a god with the cape feather. While flying, You can spin and turn around while flying. With some sweet flying skills, you could clear the first room. Before entering the second room, you can land in the doorway, enter, and jump to preserve you momentum and immediately fly in the next room so you can fly in the other direction... It might be TAS only, however... Good job on star road, the first and third levels had me stumped...

Donut Ghost House is possible if you get a cape, open the first door, then lead the boos to the left of the stage by pressing down on the slope to go left, and spin jumping on the boos to go up onto the platform where the door is. It’s incredibly hard but I was able to do it with the right timing. But once clearing the ghost house I went on to the second castle, and unfortunately there’s a segment where you need to hold left to proceed.

Theoretically you can grab a lot of power ups if they are in a single block or behind a line of blocks, as long as you have a koopa shell

Actually, you might be able to complete Donut Plains Secret Ghost House. If you try to fly with a cape, then spin in mid-air with the other run button, there's a chance you'll turn around while still in flying mode. Then you can use right to gain height with the cape feather, and profit!

If you spin in mid cape flight theres a chance you'll spin around and stay in flight mode, you could use this to go left without pressing left in the secret ghost house in doughnut planes

Hey! You can beat that Ghost House without a left press! In SMM you can't spin jump on Boos, but in SMW, you can! If you have a cape and a prayer, you can do it!

Now all we need is a "Can You Beat Donkey Kong without pressing Right" then my life will be complete.

For the secret donut ghost house, you can actually do a stair clip to avoid one of the left button inputs. (See video titled "Stair Cllipping Examples"). Don't think there is a way to avoid the other left input, though.

A good strat is to jump on the charging chucks as if u do u carry momentum backward and repeatedly jump to get to yoshi in 1-2

Well, in fact, I believe that, when you are flying with a cape, them press the spin jump button, Mario begings to fly in the other direction. Not sure though, but ive seen some speesrunners do it, but I don't know if you need to press left.

You can press X to do a spin attack while running, cape flying, or holding an item. Pressing X to spin while flying can be used to change directions, which will let you open up the cape and gain some left momentum by pressing right. I think this could possibly be used to beat the Donut Ghost House and Morton's Castle left-less and enter Star Road via either Donut Secret 1 or Soda Lake...
