I disagree with the argument of he played well before for England. Because he isn't playing well NOW. In tournaments you CANT wait for players to get up to match fitness or get their form back. Because 1 game and you could be out. It isn't a 38 game long season. It's a 7 or so game long period. In 5 games now he's not had 1 good performance. That's what 60-70% of the maximum games you can play in the tournament with you getting to the final. You also have to ask what is he offering now?
