Occam's razor: the simplest solution is usually the correct one. Chiefs have the better coach, QB, and defense, therefore they will likely win. It's that simple.

Actually, on paper, the 49ers win, but you can’t do the referees. I read a book a while back, called the fixes in. Ex referee says they get calls on their headsets telling them to call more penalties on the team they want to lose. Yeah because there’s holding on every play.

Unless he does something more than throw one TD…the chiefs defense will be the ones winning. Patrick isn’t exactly putting up GOAT numbers. Best QB in the league, no doubt, but KC defense has been lights out when it matters. Even if their run defense looks like a middle school team

Chiefs defense was number 2 overall this year. Ravens was the number 1 scoring defense and the Chiefs were better statistically in every way except turnovers. You may want to rethink that score. If the 49ers do manage to win, they are not scoring over 30. That's just not happened against this defense. They are also historically great in the second half, letting an average of less than 7 points scored in the second half, while the 49ers haven't been able to start hot in a post season game yet. I wouldn't put money on that if I were you.

Cute, but AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. It's the 49ers year! Most loaded 49er team since the last time they won the SB. Chiefs have the least loaded team in the Mahomes era. Chiefs defense is #28 DVOA against the run. Both teams have not-so-great run defenses; the Chiefs slightly worse. But the matching run offenses? Chiefs have only Pacheco, coming off an ankle/foot injury. He's great, but no depth at the position; their RB2 drops off in performance. The 49ers have a better run offense (#1 rushing efficiency), not only with the league's #1 RB, but RB2 Elijah Mitchell would be RB1 on most other NFL teams, and RB3 Jordan Mason is a wrecking ball averaging 5.3 yds/rush and would be an easy RB2 on any team. Oh, and there's also Deebo, and also Brock's legs. I think the 49ers have a better chance at stopping the Chief's run game than the Chiefs chances stopping the 49er run game. Whoever establishes the run game will have the advantage of controlling the clock, keeping the other QB off the field and be better able to dictate game flow since they'll be able to prosecute a more balanced, complementary offense (i.e., sprinkle in pass plays against run defense formations). GO NINERS!!!
