I know there’s a lot of reviews from KZfaqrs that don’t actually even play the whole game or the full game. They just throw it on the table and skim through it. That’s why I appreciate your channel.

For myself, it was absolutely worth it; even though I only have the Retail base game which cost me 150AUD (around 100USD). But, I did play some games through Tabletop Simulator on Steam before taking the plunge on the Retail version. Even though I've had some single player games where I've been absolutely bulldozed, still enjoyed myself. Gangs of NIght City really does capture how brutal and uncompromising Night City is 👍👍

Can I least get the name of the containers? Can’t find them on Amazon and I want to organize it like how you did.

Finally a review with expansions! Other channels seem to just review the core box and then send it back to the publishers. I dont think they even play it...

I saw the Kickstarter, but I didn't get it because the shipping was so expensive. Thought about getting it now but honestly, the amount of content locked as Kickstarter exclusives kind of kills it for me. Characters being exclusive already sucks, but I can't fathom making gangs Kickstarter exclusives. I can't play all the gangs in the board game "GANGS of Night City"? I can understand if I needed to buy all the gangs in expansions... but as Kickstarter exclusives?

I did not back this game. I have been playing a cyberpunk theme game called Tamashi Chronicles of ascend been having a lot of fun with that recently. I know there’s another cyberpunk 2077 game coming out soon on I believe game found. I do like the added boards on the corners it reminds me of talisman, which has a special place in my heart

Components looks good, yet due to the fact my company is not actually too into the area control type games - I doubly buying it. Even though, setting is something I liked about the game a lot.

I don't see this game getting a reprint. I would be quite shocked if it did. It looks like it drastically underperformed for a CMON campaign (likely thanks to the insane shipping prices on every single CMON campaign) and I am pretty sure that the retail sale is even worst given CMON purposely sabotaged their retail edition. I managed to grab a second hand copy for a decent price and found most of the expansion for ''cheap'' (except the fixers that I just proxied myself, what I ripoff expansion) and it's fun. But it will likely become a forgotten CMON title solely because of their horrible business decisions :(

Do you think this is a worthwhile game for two players, otherwise there are polar opinions on BGG or should I immediately sell my Kickstarter all-in, since we only play with two people?

Agree with you on most counts. I love the video game AND the board game. My only real beef is with the netrunning. It’s such a cool part of the video game, and here it just falls flat. I enjoy all the other things they abstracted, including combat, but netrunning was painfully oversimplified. I noticed the wash on the Tiger Claws….did you follow my advice on BGG? Haha. Just a fan of your channel trying to take some credit. 😂

Good video and over view. This game was a hidden gem for me, I wasn’t expecting it to be as enjoyable as it was. Some feedback about your video. At certain times Your hands get in the way a lot when you’re showing close ups of the components. Your hands are blocking cards, minis, etc. As well you’re moving things around as you’re talking about them. If I didn’t own this game, I would feel frustrated as it’s hard to get a good look at things from your video. I disagree about the game being under developed, I think it was over developed. Nothing in the game feels really broken. I think the game needed a bit more “big move” moments. The game feels too balanced. It’s an area control game, but the important areas to control are the points of interest, not really the districts. You don’t really need to control the districts as much as points of interest. Hence why combat doesn’t feel “big’ like Blood Rage. I hope it comes back to KS. They did bring Hate back, so…. Fingers crossed. Overall a good video

Painted everything in a month? Yeah I’m looking at more a showcase finish for mine even though it’s for a board game. I’m halfway through side gig, finished motor pool. Probably take me 3 months to complete as I’m painting the lot, no sundrop/ wash only look. As a painter I don’t consider wash only minis as painting. Makes me laugh when people pay a fortune for sundrop minis that you can do yourself and cheaper. Think you’ll find you had some of those cars in wrong place. That’s why they wouldn’t go in the tray.
