Braulio Carrillo, famous in the news for landslides and accidents on Route 32, is also the road that leads to the Caribbean region of the country, but what few know is how incredibly beautiful this area is. It is one of the largest protected areas in Costa Rica, covering 50 thousand hectares and located in one of the most rugged topographies of the country, a landscape covered by forested mountains that demonstrate the impressive nature of our country.
We decided to visit and explore the trails of the Quebrada Gonzalez sector. There, not only were we lucky enough to admire the forest, but we also came across some of its inhabitants...
Undoubtedly, a park worth visiting to get out of the city for a while...
