He literally fumbled the game away and missed throws that could’ve won them the game. Yes, there was a drop… yes, there was a misscue or two… So what?? It’s the SUPERBOWL… The QB wins the game for the team when it comes time. They would’ve said this about ANY other QB that got to the Superbowl two seasons ago… We can logically blame a majority of the SB loss on Jalen. If you’d like to disputed that, you’re quite literally slow. Jalen’s got more glazing, TOs and inspirational quotes than TD in his career. He’s a SOLID, not GREAT, but SOLID leader, and a GREAT guy… but this is wild (Not responding to any of yall peasant Eagles fans replyin, but type away if you wish to waste your own time☠️)

Listen you can blame whatever you want on the super bowl you can say that it was the rats you can say it was dreaming hurts and the fumble you can say it was whatever you want it to be the end of the day the true reason why the eagles lost the super bowl was for two particular reasons one it was because of the defense and how the defense played in the second half of that game and the way the game was called you can call you can say it was the slippery field and how everyone was slipping all over but the Chiefs had to play on the same field at the end of the day

I don’t like that people act like the coordinators didn’t have a TON to do with the downfall. The defense was terrible all year besides about 2 or 3 games and Jalen was the main reason we were winning most of these games. Anytime the offense scored and got Philly a lead, hurts would have to go right back out there and try to win us the game

Jalen was also a big reason they were down in games when the defense, specifically the DLine, did show up. Late in the season, that DL was gassed. As far as coordinators go, they only call plays based on Sirianni's gameplans. The OC does not come up with the gameplans in Philly. They might make suggestions during the week, but everything goes through Sirianni. When it was clears Hurts wasn't healthy during the season, they should have benched him so he could recover for the playoffs. They needed to win 1 game to clinch a playoff spot but they decided to gamble for a bye.

He had the best odds of winning MVP after that Buffalo game He wasn't the issue, it was the fact the OC was obsessed with the big play and didn't scheme anything over the middle of the field and short, meaning he had no hot routes when rushers came free. Long developing plays + no hots = more QB Hits and turnovers, which leads to other issues

Jalen hurts out, played Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl… we definitely not gonna take nothing from Patrick Mahomes, but his last Super Bowl his defense won that so at the end of the day, I don’t see the Chiefs repeating… As an eagle fan, I feel like everyone just needs to be accountable and then move forward. Don’t let the last game interrupt the next game… I do think that Jalen hurts is definitely going to ball out this year

Jalen has the OC now that Dak had when he ran the number one offense two years in a row. Based on what we’ve been taught Jalen should be able to run the number one offense this year. I’ve been told eagles have the best WR duo, one of best TEs, and one of the best HBs in the league. Dak only had one of those at that time he did it so Jalen got no excuses.

Jalen Hurts is a true baller he really out played Patrick Mahomes with clarity. Any real fan could see that. Only losing by three points. In the super bowl, that's why they didn't give him the ball with 60seconds off the bradberry penalty. He would have tied the game, or won it best Superbowl against Mahomes ever. 89.1 passer rating 3,858 yards 23 TDs 15 INTs and 5 fumbles is not a good year for other QBs. Sure, the rushing TDs were great….but as a QB….those stats are mid at best.

Aside from Jalen playing hurt…people need to remember the lack of experience at the OC position last year. They also ran an extremely basic high school offense with no hot route options or designed plays utilizing underneath routes focusing on YAC. The receiver route trees were extremely basic and repetitive and defenses had a beat on what the Eagles were doing. I have NO IDEA why Sirianni was ok with barely any adaptability on both sides which showed last year. Hurts will absolutely have a bounce back year. Oh and as far as Acho’s comment that Jalen isn’t good enough to win the SB…He OUTPLAYED Mahomes in the Super Bowl. The Eagles offense put up insane numbers in the Super Bowl. It was their defense that gave away the game. Jalen hurts did everything he could to put them in a position to win. John Gannon blew the Super Bowl so Acho’s comment has already been disproven before it even came out of his mouth! 🤦🏻♂️

They never seem to mention that defenses in the NFL have adapted to high flying offenses. Defenses play to prevent the big play. That's why teams like KC, Baltimore, and the 9ers had a lot of success. They could play that grindy offense with good run games and short to medium passing game. Jalen fits into that style. Lmao half way through the season last year they all talked about how Jalen was in the talks for the mvp he was nfc player of the month at one point in the season some of the games he was a big reason they won games last year especially against Buffalo he put the team on his back in the 2nd half and if you look back at the season I can count at least 5 interceptions that weren’t really on him I’ve seen multiple games where the ball bounce off guys hands and got picked

Philly's blame goes to the play calling (coordinators), as much (if not more than) the players. The play calling last year was high school. Yes, our secondary has been brutal the last 2 years, hopeful we've remedied that - we will find out fast as the season kicks off.

Dak was called turnover prone when he had 16 turnovers in 2022 (I know he played in less games that season than Hurts last year, both still averaged over 1 turnover per game). Hurts will get a pass because he made a SB I guess.

Imma birds fan the defense did what it was supposed to do it held mahomes and Andy to 14 in the first half the eagles was up 10 at HT making it 24-14 that’s more then enough to win last time I checked when 1 team scores the other get the ball back the chiefs scored 3 str8 possessions coming out the half and the eagles offense didn’t respond till deep in the 4th Q and at that point the chiefs had the ball with like 2 mins left missed opportunities the moment hurts fumbled I knew it would cost us Cus the chiefs scored without mahomes even being on the field and it resulted in 7 pts and we lost by 3 you can’t make them careless mistakes with the football when your playing against greatness
